Excellent value for anyone to see if they're gonna like guitar
As a 60 + year-old who just wanted to try to learn a new hobby and wasn't sure how he would get on I am delighted with this set considering the price even before deducting the extras I wasn't expecting much but this is well put together looks good and stays in tune really well I'm no expert but it may not be the best quality materials but you wouldn't know to look at it and the tone sounds lovely , I honestly don't think you could do better for the money if you're looking to find out if you'll like playing , yes a guitar shop would guide you better for the right guitar for you but you would pay at least three times the price, I will update later once I've learned more about playing and adjusting string height etc but long story short for under sixty pounds unless it falls apart you can't go wrong.UPDATE- having taken the plunge and watched a few YouTube videos on lowering the action everything else looked fine so took 3mm off the bridge above and it's now much easier to play not as difficult as I thought although as a new bridge is only a few quid on here with some other spares highly recommend you get a spare incase you muck it up , still think a great beginners guitar only had it a few days and already can play three cords

First guitar I’ve ever had, not disappointed
I bought this because it was cheap and I didn’t know whether or not I’d enjoy playing guitar at all. Well, I really do!The steel strings are quite painful at first but you stop feeling it after a while. I’ve had it for almost a year now and I have had to replace 3-4 of the strings that broke during tuning. My more experienced friend told me the strings were quite high off the fretboard and recommended I grind down the bottom of the bridge to make it lower and I did. I also found the pegs very hard to pull out, the peg puller didn’t work and I levered it out with a pair of scissors instead so.. yeah. The tuner also didn’t work at all for me so I have been using an app on my phone. The strap works fine, the case is not good quality but it can hold the guitar, the picks were a bit thick for me so I’ve been using different ones.I never tried to redeem the free lessons so I don’t know how they are. I just learned a lot of easy songs to help me learn and that’s been working for me.So overall, it’s not perfect but I definitely recommend it for beginners like me who aren’t sure yet if they want to commit to a more expensive instrument. 👍

It's okay for the money
I'm a beginner, and bought a tiny 6 string from charity, I use it more than this. Personal preference but this comes with metal strings, I find ,I like the vinyl strings. It's ok as comes with tuner, and other accessories. More for and adult as opening this at Christmas would make me cry! And I'm 42 my £15 kids is better. It is what it is I'm happy when ya mess about with it.

Cheap beginner guitar. Ignore the pedantic reviews.
Bought as a Christmas gift for a complete beginner. It has everything you'll need to get started and everything was well packaged, quickly delivered even though it was going to Slovenia, and arrived safely. Shame there was no option to write a gift message.Complaints from others about the thinness of the guitar's bag are to be ignored and it's a shame they lowered the review because of it. If you are concerned about the transit of your guitar, the last thing you'd be using is a fabric bag anyway. And given the price of the guitar itself, it's not a big deal. They're more a dust cover than anything anyway. With the price of this guitar package, those comments really are unrealistic and delusional. I wouldn't stick my Takamine in one, but for this guitar, I'd be absolutely fine with the bag!And to be pedantic about how the guitar is made because it's not to high standards that some people have expected are far fetched, as is stating their musical expertise as an excuse for talking about a beginner guitar from a low end manufacturer and expecting better. Maybe they should check the plenthora of video/text reviews online before buying instruments or recommending them in future. It's an extremely cheap guitar with a bag, stand, strap, capo, tuner, head tightener and plectrums. It's a steal! In comparison, I have an £850 guitar, have a Gator hard case for it at £70, capo for £20, strap for £10-15 and a stand for £10. That's £960 over this set for £57! You definitely don't want to spend any more for a complete beginner who wants to teach themselves guitar and have everything they'll need, except extra strings.FYI strings are a personal preference so don't worry they're not in the set. Plus they're super cheap and if you need to know information about anything to do with guitars, head to a music shop where you'll get all the information you need. Staff are always really helpful and a great place to go when your beginner player is more advanced and can test a range of good quality guitars. Maybe that music teacher should have advised their student and family about that instead of saying to go to Amazon for one...

Excellent kit for those starting out
I bought this for my nephew who as a young adult decided he wanted to learn to play the guitar. The kit has everything he needs to start such as an electronic tuner, spare strings, capo, and guitar stand. I was so impressed even though I have a rather good guitar, I liked it so much I bought another one for myself and thoroughly enjoy playing it.Obviously it isn’t an expensive guitar, it doesn’t have a rosewood fingerboard like more expensive ones but it is well constructed, beautifully finished, has good tone and a very good instrument for someone learning and beyond. It is also at a price that provides excellent value for money.

Not beginner friendly
So being a musician for a bit now i have played on my fair share of instruments. And let me tell you this is not for people getting into guitar. Now ill preface this by saying that im primarily a bass player which means im used to tuners being tough to turn to tune. But let me tell you this instrument has some of the stiffest tuners I've ever used. Also the action is incredibly high. So much so that even i had issues fretting this thing. And again this is me as a bass player. Thirdly is less about playability and more about Keep ability. The thing smells so bad. Like it smells like toxic paint which im sure not many people want around the house.Moving past those points to some positives is that if your able to get past the tuning and action issues then you have a half decent playable guitar that sounds alright. Its not superb but its better than expected. And also tge rest of the pack makes this atleast half worth it. If you already have an acoustic and just need the extra stuff that comes with this pack id say its worth getting it and then reselling the guitar. My final thoughts on this guitar is that for 50 quid((which is what i payed for it)) its not bad its just not good either. Id say if you can fix the action, the tuners and that damned paint smell then you would have a decent practice guitar to play on. But outside of that your really looking at a barely playable guitar that comes with a good set of extras.

Great for a beginner, everything you need to get started is there in the box. I would recommend it to anyone thinking about learning the guitar.

Cheap Deal - Poor Quality Guitar
This product seemed great at first. A fantastic price point for a beginner to pick up guitar. I loved the colour, Everything you needed to get started, did feel a little light but i'm not exactly an expert guitars.Machine heads for tuning felt a bit flimsy, sometimes i would twist and the tone would not change, then it would slip/slacken.The 6 months free lessons is not something you are paying for in this product, its a free 3rd party product which can be easily found on a good search engine. After about a month of playing no more than 30 mins for 3/4 days a week following the lessons the body of the guitar cracked mid playing (see video)As this happened 1 month after purchasing, i wanted to contact the seller before leaving a review but there wasn't an option to do so through amazon. Therefore i have left this review.I am extremely disappointed at the quality of this product. But you get what you pay for i guess.

Not recommended for beginners.
The string height is too high, I measured the 6th string at the 12th fret and it is 5mm.The capo itself is also jittery and not good quality at all.It is very inexpensive, so if you can maintain it by yourself or have knowledge about it, this guitar is good.It is not recommended for beginners. It is more difficult than other guitars and you are more likely to fail.
