Started out great .... but ...
I just seem to have terrible luck with gaming headsets. My $150 Logitech F540 quit charging just after the 1 yr warranty expired so I replaced it with the best $150 Sony headset. It worked very well, but was not ergonomic and very uncomfortable to wear more than 30 minutes. I sold it to friend and purchased this new model made by Thrustmaster, the same people who make the wheel and pedal assembly I use for racing. It worked great and I was optimistic. The leather ear cuffs also made my ears sweat but it included an additional set of very soft cloth covered ear cuffs. Unfortunately, they didn't have the same mounting design as the originals and I could never get them installed. However, that really wasn't an issue as I knew somewhere down the road, I'd figure that part out. As I said, these headphones worked great in all catagories .... easy to connect and set up, good sound and mic quality and more comfortable than the Sony. Unfortunately, last night after some good online racing, I was done for the night and I pressed the ON/OFF button to turn the headset off (as I had done 50 times in the previous 2.5 weeks). The headset would not turn off. The power light remained on. I thought to unplug the transmitter and try it but that didn't work. Then I thought to plug the transmitter back in and the blue light on the transmitter kept blinking in an attempt to pair it (sync together) with the headset. It is unable to do that. Normally, the transmitter is plugged in and you just turn the headset on and they pair up in about 4 or 5 seconds. Since the headset won't turn off, I can't initiate the pairing sequence by turning the headset on. I think that the ON/OFF switch inside has failed. Thankfully, Amazon has such a fair and honorable return policy. That's the main reason I do so much business with them. I gave it 3 stars because when it worked, it worked well, but having parts failure in the first two weeks is not acceptable.

a little bulky and for a wireless headset i cant go very far from the stand- 20 feet away or and they start cutting out. 21 feet they disconnect. kind of weird to not be able to move around very much for being wireless.

Sounds nice, weight hurts you worse!
I was so excited for these and they do work nice, but I can only wear for a short period of time they are incredibly heavy and hurt your head. Overall okay..
