Mopar 82215488AB 82215489AB Ram 1500 Front and Rear Deluxe Molded Splash Guards With Fender Flares

I really like the overall length of these splash guards - not too long or too short. They fit perfectly without protruding from the side like some others. I have a 2023 RAM 1500 Limited and they look great. They were a bit more money than some others online, but the fact they are Mopar (OEM) and fit as good as they do makes it well worth it. Note that the product comes with one plastic 1/4" rivet per guard so you need to buy that small one-handed rivet gun that Harbor Freight has for $15.

Bought this Official Mopar product for the new model 2019-2020 Ram 1500 not the classic. Fits perfect with the truck with a natural look. Blocks the majority of dirt and grime from the roads, but not all of it. A huge improvement compared to not having any flaps. You must drill a few holes so beware of that. This product does require rivets and highly recommend getting a rivet gun. I installed one without the rivet gun which turned out to be difficult. Went to buy a cheap rivet gun to finish the rest and it made life incredibly easy. A rivet remover is also incredibly helpful.

Didn’t fit

The additional protection provided to the body is excellant ,so glad I put them on immediately,and didn’t wait,well worth the money for what they provide.YOU WONT BE SORRY,word to the wise don’t wait.

Installed very easy. Only took an 8mm socket, and a 1/4 drill bit. Like others have said, buy some 1/4" plastic push in type fasteners from the autoparts store. The plastic rivets that come with them need a special tool for install. Other reviews mention that the back set did not have the Styrofoam inserts, but I can say that both front and back had them in mine. Maybe it was an upgrade or something. All around good product that fit very well, and were shipped quickly.

I'm really torn about how to evaluate these splashguards. I have only had them on my truck (2020 RAM Rebel) for a few weeks now so I can only comment on what I have observed to this point. In my opinion, these are by far the best looking splashguards for this truck. They fit against the fender flares perfectly. They also do a great job at minimizing the spray coming off of the tires, especially the aggressive tires on the Rebel. This was my primary purpose behind adding them, since I was getting terrible spray down the sides of the truck (which is white). The installation is extremely easy, and it took me maybe 15 minutes to do both front wheels. I did not need to remove the tires, just turn full lock to one side or the other. I used the plastic rivets as directed in the instructions. The negative is the open section of the splashguards towards the center of the truck. The splashguards are hollow and the portion closest to the center of the truck is fully exposed for debris build-up. I'm completely blown away that they would design something that fits as well as it does to the outer surfaces but yet leave such a glaring issue on the inside. There is a small drain slit in the center, but I enlarged the slit to allow for additional material to escape. I anticipate having to clean this section out. I may end up cutting the inner edge off of the guards to eliminate the pocket. If it weren't for this pocket, I would have easily rated these a 5 star product.

As long as you have an 8mm socket/ratchet, drill with a 1/4" bit and four 1/4 inch press in tabs it is easy. I did not use the rivet type in the box since it requires a special tool. Be sure to clear the plastic shavings from each hole needing to be drilled.
