Gelert Solid Fuel Tablets

Worked very well.

Bought for sonisphere '14, will be buying more for '15. I would advise to buy an extra pack as, if like me, you tend to mess around a bit, you'll burn through them too quickly >>Boils water very quickly and for cooking in a field you can't go wrong

I took this on a hike recently, very easy to lightTook 3 tablets to boil enough water for two full mugs, this was on a day where the tempratures rarely rose above 5oC so a very cheap and easy solution for mountain top cups of tea and the likes!

Basic item which works well and simple to use. Compact(with its burner) idealitem to keep "just in case " or as a camping fall back in case your complex stove fails.

Bought these for a festival along with the little gelert compact folding stove. These are a festival essential for me, because festival food prices are so expensive, but being able to make cups of tea, hot chocolate and pot noodles with this fuel was really worthwhile and adds to the festival experience. A cup of water boiled pretty speedily too in the mess tins. Very happy with purchase! (My only advice is wash hands after use, they smell a little fishy!)

Bought these for a festival and after a couple of attempts gave up on them and just bought food in the arena. They were difficult to light and were really small and thin... used with a gelert little cooking thing, perhaps the metal thing was the problem in being so small but its just not worth it unless you're trying to be Bear Grylls and are deliberately making things difficult for yourself!!

Well worth having instead of a fuel burner, you do need to use atleast 5cubes at a time for example boiling enough water for a hot chocolate and a pot noodle. only down fall is that the shipping fee is the same as the product so dont exactly get a great deal. i took 2 packs with me for 5 day's at reading festival and by the 3rd day every one was asking to use my Hexy burner and blocks cuz they are better than you think. bare in mind this was only for me so if there is more than 1 of you going to use these you want to get plenty.
