Graco-Sharpe 288884, Finex FX2000 Conventional Spray Gun, 1.3 mm

To the lady above that has problems with her cup being loose I recently bought a used gun and had the same issues so I heated up the threads and was able to unscrew the piece at the bottom of the cup and clean the threads off and reassembled it and it tightened up enough to where it wouldn't leak but I love the gun

So I got this paint gun for my husband, he loved it and said it sprays very nice... but yesterday he used it for the second time and the cup is loose and the paint is licking out of the bottom of the cup where it connects to the gun... very disappointed because he really liked it... he can fix anything, so believe me when he says it can’t be fixed... does this product has any warranty? Is there anything it can be done to recover my investment? Or how could you help me?

This is my second Finnex 2000 1.4 conventional spray gun. Gave first one to my son. Works great.No leakage at cup or defects. Would prefer screw on paint cap, plastic press on does the job.Got 3M air regulator also for precise air flow.Painted 64 GTO with PPG single stage and clear coat. Looks as good as $600. Guns. I've used one about 5 years now for applying lacquers and urethanes to wood trim and I've used on several painting projects. The gun has performed very well even though I'm not spraying automobile finishes its been great all I need is a new can filter after all this time. Just thought it might be helpfull to people but I know I could spray a excellent finish on a car with one. I use a regulator and motorguard moisture filter at the gun and another moisture filter in line.
