I’m not sure what case the 1 Star reviewers bought, but it certainly isn’t this one! I bought this case for my new XR after having used much more expensive Otterbox Defender (OD) cases on my previous IPhone 6s and 4 and Lifeproof Fre on my 6s briefly. But I thought that as the XR is so big to begin with adding even more bulk with an OD case would possibly make the phone too big and unusable, so took a risk on this one and I’m glad I did.First off, the case gives 100% all round protection with the built in screen protector as part of the case. The front and back covers are clear plastic, but not flimsy and have substance to them. There is no degradation in touch response on the front screen. The clear back screen allows you to show off the XR colour in all its glory, but is somewhat slippy in the hand. But this is where the rubber surround comes into play. It makes the phone feel secure in your hand and is ergonomically designed so that it feels comfortable when holding it. Much better than the Lifeproof Fre’s hard plastic feel, but very similar to the feel of the OD. This rubber surround sits a couple of millimetres higher than the front and back so unless you drop the phone onto the corner of a table or spike screen first it looks like it should protect direct impact with the screen itself.Opening the case to put the phone in the it was slightly difficult at first because the diagrammatical instruction sheet wasn’t as clear as it could be and of course I was being extra careful not to damage it before even using it. But once I’d done it, it became a cinch.Does the case add bulk to the phone?Yes, a little, but all cases that actually protect a phone will do.Does it look and feel well-made?Definitely.Does it make the phone feel heavier?Not really in my opinion.Does the phone fit snuggly in the case or slide about?It fits like a glove.Does it feel safe in your hands?Definitely.Would I buy it again?Definitely.Well, those are my impressions after 5 days of using the case. It’s definitely value for money and an excellent way to protect that shiny new iPhone XR.

I’m really pleased with this phone case! The instructions were not the clearest and it was a bit fiddly to open the case up to put my phone inside, but as my husband pointed out, I know the phone is very safe and snug in there. The case is really lightweight but my phone feels very well protected - with two small boys in the house there’s no way I can take risks!The touch function also works well through the case - I’m writing this review on my phone with the case on 😊I really loved that the screen protector is built-in so no chance of sticking it on wrong, and it fits really well - I can still catch the edges of the touchscreen as needed. I also really like that the back is clear - I went for the red iPhone XR so I’m happy the colour shows through.Overall I’m really happy with this phone case and would definitely recommend!

Open the box and it all looks a little flimsy. But put it all together and is nice and sturdy , with meaty rubber sides, a screen protector that works perfectly, ie it doesn't affect sensitivity. The buttons work perfectly, the back protects the camera enough the phone lies flat. Very good , no regrets.

I bought this for my wife as she got a new phone. The case is nice and sturdy and fits the phone well. She is happy with it anyway and she hasn't broken her phone so can't complain.

Good case my phone takes a beating on a day in day out .been dropped but still good .fits well on phone clear back so u still see colour of phone looked at other phone cases but clad I purchased this case .hard wearing easy to clean 10/10

This case does what it needs to. It fits the XR perfectly, it’s sturdy and the touchscreen and buttons work well.Taking the 2 sections of the case apart can take a little effort, but that’s also reassuring that it won’t fall apart if I drop the phone!Plugging the lightning cable in is a bit fiddly due to the cover, but I will get used to it.Overall, excellent value!

Really good ...side buttons work and the cover doesn’t come off easily like...some of the other phone cases I have used have lasted a week. I have dropped my phone a number of times and my phone case hasn’t shattered and hasn’t damaged my phone yet

Bought this 360 phone case in hopes of protecting my phone - arrived on Sunday and by Friday my phone went from being brand new to completely smashed - literally worst phone case I’ve come across. The only positive thing I can say is the back of my phone is in pieces but the case managed to keep all the glass in the case, saved me cleaning up I guess. Would only recommend to my worst enemy to buy this case. Plus it’s so boxy everyone thinks my IPhone XR is a Samsung as if things weren’t bad enough.
