I Fixed My Leak
A deer stepped on the edge of my pond and ripped the liner. It was a big hole. The surface where the hole was was not at all flat. I followed their directions then used the excess adhesive to effectively caulk the gaps where the patch couldn’t match the contour of the torn area.Surface prep is VERY important with repairs of this kind. I was able to drop the pond level so that the area I was working on was above the water level. This allowed me to throughly clean the surface with paint thinner and rough up the surface around the hole with sandpaper.

Worked well, don't make the patches too small
In an effort to do some Fall cleaning in my koi pond, I put a hold in the liner about 18 inches down (in a 36" deep pond). I purchased the lead repair kit and let the water slowly drain down to the level of the hole.I made 2 mistakes in my patch process.First, I didn't drain the pond down far enough. I believe the repair kit states that it will work while wet, but I just didn't have the confidence that it would adhere, and actually the bottom (the was barely above water) of the patch didn't adhere very well.Second, I cut the patches just a little bit larger that the hole. Again, it didn't adhere very well in a couple of spots.I chalk off both mistakes to user error as I was able to successfully patch by doing the following:I manually drained the pond several inched below the leak, let everything dry out very well, and wiped it down with towels. I then cut a much larger patch and placed that over the original patches I used.I refilled the pond, and as I write this review it's been over a month and I've not lost any water. Success!BOTTOM LINE: I would use this product again, but make sure to drain the pond several inches below the hole and cut larger patches.

85 year old woman failed to make it leakproof. Darn.
I even drew a diagram of how to apply it, like on the Australian guy's Youtube video...Pond still slowly leaked... I don't know if the pond liner wasn't clean enough, or if there was a gap in the coverage.-The weird problem was... She didn't understand that the Single Shot can has a trigger that needed to be figured out, making sealant application a breeze. She ended up cutting the top off, and scooping the sealant out with a stick. Not an easy way to spread it. --Bummer.when I go back to visit, this fall, I will fix it for her.I do Love the product... as it can even be applied Underwater, if you scrub the liner to remove any SLIME.-Stuff happens! :)

Worked like a charm
Bought this to replace an earlier pond patch that came loose. The hole was in a tricky spot as there are folds in the liner, but this did the trick and was easy and quick to apply.

worked as advertised
This product worked as advertised -- my patch has been in place for over a month and has shown no signs of leaking or pealing. Follow directions. My only gripe is that I would rather have had the adhesive in a normal caulk tube.

No instructions to open!!
Sometimes works, sometimes not. But my biggest complaint is that there are ZERO instructions, ANYWHERE on how to “open” the tubes!!! Not on the tube in any way, or anywhere; not on the website; not in any of the numerous YouTube videos. Took 3 tubes before I figured it out. Ridiculous!!!!!!!!!If you’ve bought it, notice the little tab. It has to be popped up for the squeeze trigger to work at all.

Easy to use and high quality
Had a tear in my fish pool liner due to a deer stepping on it. This kit is easy to use and has high quality material that blends in. So far the adhesive holds very well. The can is pressurized which makes it easy to place where you want it.
