Anchor Hocking4-Quart Glass Mixing Bowl, Set of 2, Clear

I haven’t used these bowls as of yet but will as I clean out the old ones. I had purchased a new 4 Qt bowl and wanted new smaller ones to match. They’re heavy, but are very pretty with the extra lining around the tops and will be great smaller serving/mixing bowls. Packaged extremely well to have no breakage and I’ve used the cardboard contraption they were packed in to keep them separate from each other as they nest together in the cupboard. Great buy!

I love this 4 qt. bowl. Perfect for mixing a loaf of sourdough bread (and other things of course). Well made, clear smooth glass, heavy, but not too heavy for me. It's a wonderful bowl and I'm very happy with it.

The product is fine. I ordered one and it arrived O K. I then ordered three more they all arrived broken. I ordered three more all three of them also arrived broken. I,ve never seen such poor packing. Put three glass bowls in a big box with very little packing material (one small sheet of brown paper). What else could you expect. How can I order three more and have them arrive safely?

Yes, you can buy a similarly sized and shaped bowl at Wally world for like six dollars BUT they are not the same quality at all. These are nice, heavy glass bowls that I expect to last years. The lids would be great of they stayed on! But they don’t! So don’t bother spending the extra money to get the kids. I’m hoping there are better replacement lids available but haven’t found any yet. I want to be able to use these for mixing bowls, to cook steel cut oats in the microwave, for bread dough, and for food storage, so if I can’t find lids, they won’t work for all of those things. If I’ve done the math right, the 6-piece set has bowls that are 4 cups, 6 cups, and 10 cups in capacity. I’m buying another set of the 2.5 quart bowls (6 cups I believe) with lids as that is a great size for me and those lids look like a different style, so I’m hoping they’ll stay on. I’m going to buy a set of the 4-quart bowls with lids. I love the idea of the versatility of these bowls with the lids, and the quality of the bowls is great, but the lids on this set just don’t stay on, unfortunately. They’re a bit of an investment, but even without the lids, it’s much better than spending six dollars and having the bowl cut me or break or chip and having to just keep replacing the cheap ones. I have a set of Anchor glass storage containers I’ve had for almost 10 years and they’re holding up great, the lids are sturdier than the Pyrex ones that I’ve already had to replace, so I’m hoping to find Anchor lids that work for these. I even have an Anchor glass casserole dish I bought in 1998 that I still use almost daily. From what I can tell so far, their quality is still great. Sure I’d love these to be priced lower, but I still feel like they’re worth the money to get these quality bowls that, barring my clumsy self dropping them onto the iron grill of my stove, I expect to last decades with no problem. I only paid a couple extra dollars for the lids but I wouldn’t bother since they just don’t stay on, and one of them is actually too small to even get onto it’s bowl.

These became my go-to glass bowls for all things baking! They’re not too heavy, but also not dangerously light. The lip allows for you to grip it well. They are a great size and very versatile. I highly recommend them!

Searching for glass dog water bowls leads to expensive solutions. I don't want to spend $25-$35 on a simple bowl for my boy to drink from. Decided just to look for glass bowls instead and presto, came across this. I already have this brand Anchor glass containers and they're excellent and so is this. It has a good grip because of the curvature of the sides, unlike sides that would go straight up and down vertically. That's important since you're carrying it one-handed full of water to set it on the ground.It holds a days worth of water. Easy to clean and all that.It's a glass bowl and it works for humans and dogs both.

Love my Anchor glass mixing bowl. I was looking for a good sized glass bowl to mix and proof my bread and this was just perfect. It’s nice and sturdy and the 4 QT size makes it a really great size for this purpose. Although it could be used for salads and many other things. Loved the price too!! Everything else that was comparable in size was definitely not comparable in price. So I’m happy with my buy!! Best of all as usual, Amazon delivered it to my home!! And it was carefully delivered too!

Great for heating things in the microwave. Easy to clean. Appears like great quality.
