Helpful Hints
These are excellent paints, with beautiful results if used properly. I've been using these for years, and it takes practice. Some advice for beginners- these are OIL BASE to thin them & clean brushes use mineral spirits (not acetone), stir for at least 2 minutes before use (I use popsicle sticks), use in a well ventilated environment (wear mask), for at least 3 day's after completing your project the smell is strong (put the project on a porch/garage etc at least 50 degrees) do not let it get rained on, wipe all projects/glass down with alcohol to clean before painting, work quickly to avoid brush strokes, do not apply too much or it will run, do not attempt to apply a second coat until completely dry (12-24 hours). Have at it, make beautiful thing's fellow painter's :)!

This color is not very pigmented at all!
It almost seems like something is wrong with the pigment concentration of this color. I have made sure it was well mixed but the blue pigment is so light it almost looks clean on glass. It is also very runny. After 10 coats I am no closer to getting the color this should be! I have other colors and this is the only troublesome one this far.The almost clean piece of glass with a slight blue tint is this paint after 10 coats!

Excellet product, as long as you know how to use it.
I had to chime in after seeing the one review with one star. This is an excellent product as long as you have the right brushes and recommended PEBEO products. got to their website or go to DickBlick dot com ... They have instructional videos.

Darker than expected and hard to dilute
Color is very dark blue, and if you expect to dilute it to a more translucent blue with acetone, you'll probably be disappointed. I was hoping for a subtle light blue and got a deep, dark blue even after a lot of effort to dilute with acetone. Paint doesn't want to mix with acetone and even after a lot of stirring and coaxing it kept separating, giving me a spotted look on the glass. Also super messy and had to use half a jar to paint three tiny bottles. If you want a dark blue glass, this is probably a good product, but right now it's misnamed "sky blue" - I know I've never seen a sky that dark.

Serious disappointment
SOOOO disappointed with this colour. I've used it previously and it was a gorgeous sky blue, aptly named. The two replacements I ordered are a totally different colour, a dark turquoise, no use whatsoever. After a few weeks I thought I may as well try and use it but the colour has also separated from the solvent and the colour appears as paint flakes in a clear liquid. Very poor all round.

Very expensive to get the desired results
If you're trying to antique mason jars as I am you've likely also been as frustrated. As mentioned elsewhere, this stuff does not want to mix. I've tried it with acetone and with the Pebeo lightening medium with the same problem - what I call "chunks" of paint that didn't dissolve. I'm getting closer to getting what I expected and for this one last experiment I'm going to mix the products and let them sit overnight before mixing again and/or strain the mixed products through a coffee filter before using. As expensive as this stuff is I won't be giving it more than one more try. Maybe the Martha Stuart glass paint would work better.
