Good hard leather to begin with. Too stiff at times to lock and unlock esp. when you’re in a hurry it can be a nuisance.

Good looking bag. Took me awhile to find the old school look of the old one I have. I wish the buckle and loops weren't so shiny and big. No reason they couldn't have used smaller ones. Takes your eye straight to them and not the bag. It looks well made. They did send the bag without the four straps that hook it to the bike. I dropped them an email and they were very apologetic and sent out the straps right away. I would give their customer service at five stars as well as the bag if the shiny Chrome looking buckle and loop were smaller. Overall it looks to be a really nice bag. I have not yet put it on the bike because we are in our winter season in the bobber Style Harley is on simmer until spring.
