Bosch00610087 Genuine OEM Door Cable (White) for Bosch Dishwashers

I had previously purchased a less expensive alternative, but it failed within 6 months. Money down a rat hole. I had to bite the bullet and buy the official Bosch part. As the original one lasted several years, I am hopeful that the official part will do the same.

This is the exact part needed to fix my Bosch dishwasher door that broke. The string that kept the door from slamming down on my dishwasher door when opened had frayed and snapped.This product is a right and left side plastic piece with attached string that inserts into the dishwashers door, then, loops around the pulley system to attach to the spring on the dishwasher.Installation was easy and my door is fixed.

After installation and re-installing the dishwasher these replacement cables are too short to allow the door to reach a horizontal open position. As a result, the lower rack sits at an angle when loading and gets hung up on the door/dishwasher gap when trying to push it back in. We are hoping the cables will stretch with use but so far they haven’t. Not sure how long my wife will let this go on before I have to order/install different cables.

It is direct replacement of OEM Bosch dishwasher door hinge cable. Replacement is straightforward. No need to wait for repairman. Order a few because it seems to break very easy.

could not hook them to my springs

I asked if it would fit my particular model Bosch dishwasher, and got a prompt response (next morning) that it did indeed work. Ordered and delivered the next day via Prime, and got around to the fix yesterday. Works fine now, and I didn't even have to replace the springs, just the broken cord.

The white plastic fittings broke after a few weeks of use. Installed new cables on both sides of the dishwasher. 1st one broke after a few weeks, then replaced it, now the other side snapped. Not sure if there's a better alternative, so have to buy new cables again. Horrible design, with cheap plastic!

Make sure it is the exact part you need for your appliance. Mine worked well for me. It was a little of a challenge installing but not too difficult to figure out. You want to make sure you have a working spring to attach the cables to for it to work.

Purchased when fixing leaking dishwasher. Had broken cable over two years. Now door closed every time and properly engages door sensor.
