This set up is worth it. I was able to use the blade on 2 deer. when I tried to use it on the third deer I found that the blade was too dull. However, it is very easy to swap out the blade and it uses standard box-cutter type blades, just buy a pack of 10 or so. I'd recommend just having a fresh blade in the holder before you hunt and you wont have a problem.The Butt-out saves time as well. Some people just insert the butt-out, twist a few times and pull everything out (and not tie it off like some of the videos show). I like the fact of not having to split the pelvic bone when not needed

Super easy to use, hook knife is very sharp and useful to replace the razor blade.

I'm not a hunter, but I bought this for a hunter's gift. HE LOVED IT! His report was that it makes a 'not fun' job quite a bit easier. He said he'll always use it from here on. That's pretty good praise to me.

Bought this last year and finally got to try it out this season. Talk about cut your time in half, functions perfectly and is a great value. The size is acceptable and the hunter orange helps not loose it in the field

This is a must for easy access in field dressing game. I really love that the skinner has replaceable blade’s,Common blades used in construction work. They’re cheap and found every where. Read the instructions or go to the company website for visual video. I would buy again.
