I bought this unit for use in a 2011 Audi Allroad which has a speedometer that is difficult to read accurately in 20 and 30 MPH zones. It is also very useful in KPH European jurisdictions. The cable plugs easily into the OBD2 port under the dash and has a flattened combined power/comms cable which is easily hidden under and between trim for neatness of installation. The unit screen is just the right size for dash mounting ahead of the driver without impairing forward vision. The readout is clear and each display screen is adjustable for both data metrics and user preferences such as colour. The instructions are written in “Chinglish” but can be understood relatively easily, and in any case the unit functionality is intuitive, with changes to default settings being quickly made through the setting menus. On this point it’s important to note that the default factory speed setting reads at 107% of the indicated vehicle speedometer speed (presumably a safety buffer to prevent inadvertent speeding), but the calibration can be easily be adjusted back to 100%, correctly matching the car’s speedometer indicated speed. Most non-calibrated speedometers over-read speed in any case so the extra buffer would seem unnecessary. An overspeed alarm can be set along with alarms for max RPM, max coolant temperature and duration of driving time. Driving efficiency metrics can be monitored. The unit switches on and off automatically when the vehicle is turned on or off, so no manual on-off switching is necessary. If I’ve any criticisms it would be that the unit looks like it’s built to a moderate price point rather than appearing as a high end, premium product. However, I can’t fault it’s functionality, accuracy or ease of fitting, and I can certainly recommend this unit if you want a digital speedometer/OBD2 reader for “real time” vehicle onboard computer metrics or as an alternative to a GPS connected unit displaying speed metrics only. At the current Amazon price point it’s well worth the money.

Works perfectly. Simple to use just plugs into the obd2 socket. Does a full diagnostics as well as giving a live water temperature reading. I have mine setup so it gives me the speed, battery voltage and coolant temperature. So I know that my mini isn't overheating. I bought it to make sure the thermostat was working properly. 10 out of 10

After asking if this was compatible with a Hyundai Ioniq Full hybrid car with OBD2 and being assured it will work with any hybrid I purchased this HUD. I soon discovered that is doesn’t work with any hybrid. Every 10 seconds it would switch off and on. I was disappointed because I was hoping this would be the solution to a heads up display I was looking for. Fortunately I was able to get a refund. I have now purchased and trying a GPS heads up display. I am finding that it is 3 miles behind what my speedometer on my car says. So that is my new project to sort out as that is whole purpose for me buying this.

Got this to fit to my transporter T5 as it doesn't have a temp gauge as standard. Has loads of monitoring facilities. It's a nice size to tuck away in corner of dash. Connects easily to obd port. Can check fault codes as well which is handy. Really good for the price

Plug and play, lots of settings to change on the display, quite pleased

Got this to work with my 2011 Corsa SRI after an initial blip… I’m currently learning in a new Clio that has a digital speedo on the dash and I find it so much easier so decided to order one of these for my car. It’s very accurate with the speed and much smaller in person than what it looks on photos! Very happy so far with it. The only reason I have knocked a star off is because the non slip sticky thing it comes with doesn't really do its job but it's nothing that can't be sorted.

It works well and it comes in a great size. Very intuitive to use. I have returned it because it didn’t sync the turbo pressure for my Audi A4 B9. Others said that it shows boost pressure.
