I would definitely recommend this toy to any child. My son absolutely loves it so much and I can definitely tell it helps him a lot with this coordination ! Also very very durable!

Great toy but not a great musical instrument, as it doesn't have a full octave of notes
Has a good feel to it and easy to play the instrument (with fingers or mallet), but it doesn't include a full octave of musical notes, which renders it quite useless for playing music. (It is hard to find music to play with only 6 notes). Which is really too bad, because otherwise it is a good toy.
