Pricey but is worth it if you really really need better sound on your system ! Working on windows 11, the drivers are sometimes pretty bad and the sound from the mic could sound a bit muddy so this is a nice solution to just plug in and forget about those. Only when you need it though for an normal person might not be needed since it is a little bit too pricey for what it is. The performance is really good, since your onboard drivers have to do nothing with it (wwwww) and using a nice splitter cable would enhance your audio. I have only used it with Win for now so I don't know if its compatible with other operating systems or not but I'm sure it should be. Been using it for a while and have faced zero issues with it so I would recommend it if you really need to revamp your audio system !

It is best dac under this budget if you have a old laptop me and it improve my audio experience overall

My laptop's inbuilt sound card gives terrible sound. With this dongle, I can certainly sense the performance has improved quite a lot. I use it on my laptop and it works with my android mobile as well. You need to enable the USB Debugging option in the settings of your phone. Moreover, to drive the headphones I have added the Volume Booster app so I can increase the volume output. It does cause phone overheating so be cautious. 20-30 mins use should be okay. Yes! You need to install the Creative SBX Pro app on your PC/Laptop. I use this device for Zoom meetings, on-location content recording, and to connect my lav mic (with adapter TRRS to TRS). I love it. Going to drive my Sony MDR 7506 headphone monitors, the Blackwire 5220 headset and the basic Sennheiser CX180 headphones. I shall update the experience here because not much review/content is there on YouTube and elsewhere for this product. Overall, I loved the product. Priced quite high compared to the USA market. I am going to get the Sound Blaster Play 4 for online meetings and calls.

Not only sound is bad. But i also checked it's driver. It's producing mono sound instead of stereo and your headphone will be worthless on this no matter how worthy they are. Microphone also not working. Also you can't return these items on amazon. Save yourself. Pathetic consumer experience!

Avevo bisogno di uno splitter per separare gli ingressi di cuffia e microfono del mio notebook, recensioni e prezzi dei cavetti di separazione non mi hanno convinto e ho preferito acquistare una scheda audio esterna. Dopo averla provata con il driver installato da Windows 11, ho scaricato il driver proprietario e funziona benissimo. Ha un livello di uscita adeguato a pilotare la mia cuffia che ha un'impedenza di 250 Ohm, mentre con la scheda audio interna il volume a volte era troppo basso. Avrei preferito le prese di cuffia e microfono un po' più distanti fra loro, ma non è un problema. Molto soddisfatto dell'acquisto, funziona molto bene e ha un prezzo poco più alto di un semplice cavetto. Pagata poco più di 16 euro.

I have a PC with a normal embedded 48KHz Sound Card, with no empty slot for a new one... I was desperate. But now, with this USB Sound Blaster Play! 3, I have the chance to get the quality I always wanted. It is crystal clear and powerful. One last Advice: although it can work immediately after plugging in with no need for a driver, I strongly encourage you to install its driver from the Creative website. It will give you an easy-to-use yet powerful control panel with useful controls to meet your customized needs.

Compre está tarjeta para sutituir la integrada en una motherboard gamer, que si bien no era mala en cuanto a especificaciones, se quedaba corta para unos audífonos sencillos de 32 ohms que compre (el volúmen era bajo, tanto de los audífonos como del microfono incorporado, por lo que tenía que subir a tope el volumen y al máximo la ganacia del microfono introduciendo mucha estatica en el proceso). Estando a media clase recibo la notificación de entrega y salgo a recibirla lo más rapido posible. Al regresar la saque del empaque, revise que todo estuviera bien y la enchufe de una vez para estrenarla en clase. Tras unos pequeños ajustes de la salida de audio y entrada del microfono, me encontre con un volumen mucho más fuerte, tanto en el microfono como en los audífonos mismos. Tanto así que tuve que silenciarme y bajar la ganacia a niveles más razonables para evitar ensordecer a mis compañeros. Con esto el micrófono se escucha bastante más limpio, aunque aún permanece un muy pequeño sonido de estática que puede ser perjudicial para grabaciones profesionales y semiprofesionales ( aunque para eso están tarjetas usb con prestaciones más avanzadas y/o software para remover el ruido). Ya una vez acabada la clase procedí a descargar los dirvers y el software incluido. Aunque dicho sowtware resulta muy simple en interfaz y opciones, para el día a día queda muy bien, y no creo que ocupes más. En resumen, la recomiendo bastante si cuentas con audífonos gamer y/o tú tarjeta de audio imterna ya no da más de sí, si escuchas con un volumen muy bajo, tienes problemas de estatica por el micrófono o si simplemente quieres mejorar el audio de tú equipo con este pequeño DAC/amplificador (que por cierto, aguanta audífonos de hasta 300 ohms, y minimos recomendables de 32 ohms) USB por un precio relativamente bajo, está es una excelente opción. PD No puedo decir nada de durabilidad porque recien me a llegado, pero si algo sucede, los mantendre actualizados y si no, pues es que todo va bien.
