The bass from the phone was just enough to pick up the sound and wasn't imposing on what I was playing. It plugged in nicely to my guitar which is a yamaha with the jack point on the underside, which didn't get in the way sitting back on my sofa. Leaning forward though I wouldn't expect it to last long unless I was sat on the edge although this would not be a problem if the jack was on the front. It took about an hour to charge up completely from my laptop which was indicated when the lights stop filling the bar. The build quality is sufficient and nice and light. The jack points are nice and tight so your wires will stay where they should be. Bit of hiss when the volume is up high on the amp, but just dial that back and crank up the volume on your guitar and it's fine. Quite an effective reverb too. Pair it up with a decent set of headphones and this will surprise you.
