Great paint. Easy to apply.
Very good coverage - very few drips are easy to wipe out. About 6 inches away is a good spread for this paint. We did one coat of this paint over our stove (2 cans). Appears to be of good quality. The color displayed is identical to what our stove turned out to look like. Metallic flakes are very small and gives semi-metallic look, but nothing too bright, very subtle.Ventilation is needed - very strong smell. The nozzle did get "stuck" a couple of times, but cleared out with a few pushes (pressing). All paint came out of cans - nothing wasted. No return is available on this item - the paint is flammable and shipping by consumer is not available. So, keep in mind - once you purchase it - it's yours to keep.

No color identification on Amazon!
This is a great product recommended by my fireplace maintenance company. Tried to buy the color I needed & it was problematic. The metallic brown was actually grey! The color chart can’t be expanded so you can get a visual on the color AND read the name. I attempted to return this wrong color and found that all my money would be eaten up in postage & restocking fees. Identify your color need elsewhere on the internet prior to purchasing from this seller!!!

Used to paint firepit
I bought this paint for a new fire-pit and took 2 cans to give a decent coating all over. It went on very easily and evenly, and the color (mahogany) is a good match for the aged bronze I was hoping for. The fire-pit has been used 4 times since, and no peeling at all. Can’t vouch for rust proofing as I keep the pit in our garage, but wouldn’t be concerned leaving outside.

I used this on a steam radiator. It coats really well. It smells very strong so even outside you will want to use a chemical respirator mask. It dries really fast so I was able to do multiple coats in a few hours. I didn't immediately hook the radiator up after painting, probably a few weeks, but I didn't notice a smell after the first heat cycle.

durability and odor
I used this product on a wood stove with a baked on enamel exterior. I had two main concerns; whether the Stove Bright paint would adhere to the baked on enamel and the smell when the woodstove was put in use. When the Stove Bright paint was first applied and after drying for two days, there were a couple of places that just a slight touch would mar the paint or scratch right off. Once the wood stove was put into use and the spots touched up, no problem at all. The paint seems to have hardened and adhered quite well. The other concern with the smell when the wood stove is first used was overblown. There is an odor but nothing as dramatic as a few of the posts I had read.Overall, I am very happy with this product and also had very high grade for customer service. I called with a few concerns and the person I spoke with was informative and very professional.

Disappointed
We never actually used the paint, because the color was just awful. The color chips on line do not represent the actual color of the paint. Very disappointed.

This could save you money
I got this to redo my fireplace insert...WOW! I was so happy, I was considering buying a new insert, mine was gold and out dated. Saw this and decided to try it. Dried quickly, even used it on my fireplace tools (poker and shovel, etc) and it looks beautiful like a brand new fireplace. I could've wasted hundreds of dollars but instead I gave this a try and I'm so glad I did.
