Works perfectly & fast in an iMac 2007 20"
This actually does fit an iMac (mid 2007) identifier 7,1 by swapping out the airport card (use LAN, it's better or buy usb dongle). As other reviewers have said, installed with no drivers needed and links at full 6Gbps which is remarkable!Tried other card before this, similar design, but using the sil3132 chipset (don't bother), buy this instead! You can tell the quality is better, it's CE marked and it's the onboard small bios driver chip that makes all the difference between this Delock and chinese ebay unbranded stuff.**Be aware** ... The downside is the sata ports direction means you can't fit the cables in on my 20" 7,1 iMac because the lcd panel leaves no room. You will have to hard solder a sata cable to the pins instead and do some judicious cable wiring & termination along the way, so skill is required depending on your machine. Yet to do mine, lcd is unscrewed and lifted up in pics. There is only 5mm clearance - some special low profile sata cables 'might' fit with a bit of fettling, the iMacs sata cable itself is 5mm -ish when plugged in (pick one up used off ebay) so a bit of abrasion to the back may give 0.5mm off to fit (yet to try).Using fresh install of Mavericks 10.9.5 by the way.

Perfect for adding external esata hard drives to my 2007 iMac
Installed this in an original 2007 aluminium iMac and its running flawlessly with OS X Yosemite without needing any special drivers, getting fantastic transfer rates on an external esata raid enclosure, in fact its out performing the internal hard drive, doesn't get better than that, just ripped out the airport wireless card and put this in its place (bit more to it than that as I needed to make some extra room in the case for running the cables) and for under £20 when I bought it, its a lot less expensive and needs no special drivers unlike comparative products I've seen used previously. Highly recommended, I believe it can also be used on earlier Mac Mini's too but check before you buy to make sure your machine also has a removable airport card as I know later iMac's (after 2009) did not have it and as such this card would not work.

Works without configuration!!! OSX
I was looking to remove the Mini PCIe WiFi card from my MacMini 2007 in order to be able to have additional SATA drives. My optical drive port died, so there was no hope putting a second drive there.I did have to buy an extension cable from eBay/China, but that was only £12.I plugged it all in, using a SATA power supply from a cheap eBay drive enclosure. My 3TB hard drive showed up instantly. I no longer have problems with lagging HD video as my MacMini serves my Apple TV.I am VERY pleased. Zero configuration - no drivers - completely plug and play.2007 Apple MacMini OSX Mountain Lion

No OSX support ☹️
I returned this item because it does not work with OSX which it should. Under Windows or Linux a very nice product !!

Would cost them less than the useless printed 'product news' insert and be far more useful
Price is right, but shame on Delock for not including fixing screws. Would cost them less than the useless printed 'product news' insert and be far more useful.

Didn't worked at all. Installed on my Intel D525MW, FreeBSD would not even see it. I imagine it is msata and not mini pcie. And that was not told :/
