I’ve been using the white Conair hair dryer for several weeks now and I’m really impressed with its performance for the price. I just used this hair dryer for the first time this morning. The buttons on my old one stopped working so I had to replace it. I chose this one based on its price. Bargain priced for sure. First impressions: 1. It has less intense heat than my old one. I used the highest setting and it didn't feel hot. Not cold either but you could definitely feel the heat with my old dryer. 2. The cord is shorter than my old one. Not a major problem for me but if you need a long cord, this may not be for you. 3. The amount of air forced through for drying didn't seem to be as great as my old one either. That being said, there was NO DIFFERENCE IN DRY TIME BETWEEN old and new dryers. That was weird. I thought that with less air, it might take longer, but it didn't. You should know I have fine hair that dries easily anyway. Furthermore, IT IS MUCH QUIETER than the old one. This is a BIG DEAL to me. I had originally searched for the quietest hair dryers out there but they were all quite pricey. This one is much quieter than expected so I feel like I have a win on my hands here. I would say the sound is still slightly higher pitched than ideal, but I think I'll disturb the rest of the house less with this one. You will see people comment about the finish and that it will flake off. Can confirm that it will probably happen. It happened with my old hair dryer too which had the same matte finish coat. But I'm the only one who uses it so I don't care too much if the finish eventually flakes. Overall, I would recommend this hair dryer.

Very Nice Hair Dryer! I bought this for my daughter for a Christmas present. She has been using it on her knee length hair for about 6 weeks. She really likes it. This Conair dryer is nice looking and easy to hold. The handle is comfortable, and it is light enough to not make her arm ache from holding it up. There are different settings for how hot or hard you want it to blow. The air is diffused in a way that helps protect your hair from damage. My daughter can tell the difference in her hair from the old dinosaur dryer she had been using. She also feels that even though it is gentle, it has been drying her hair much faster than her old one was. The price was reasonable for a nice quality dryer. There is really nothing special about this hairdryer, which is exactly the point. I just needed to replace my old hairdryer whose motor was burning out, and I needed it to dry my hair. Check. This model has 2 heat settings and 2 airflow settings, plus a cool shot button to hold for cool air. Does the ionic conditioning feature work? No idea, as my hair didn't come out frizzy with my old dryer either. Does the concentrator nozzle work? The knowledge I gained in fluid dynamics and nozzles while working towards my Mechanical Engineering degree tells me this will properly accelerate the airflow, just as you'd expect. Unless you have a dire need to color coordinate your hairdryer with the furnishings in your bathroom (which, let's face it, if you have that need, you are likely paying someone else to buy your hairdryer and not reading this review), I don't see why you'd buy a more expensive model.

It is a great hair dryer. Well balanced, comfortable to use. Heat control is perfect. Bottom line is that the price is great. Note, when my significant other is not using it, I use it as a heat gun to melt heat shrink tubing on wires. Yes, my motorcycle thanks you. Save yourself time and money, just buy it. Note-This was Not A Freebie. I purchased it.

Loved this hair dryer. Light weight, good heat and cold shot. But today it burned up becuase I could not get out the dust behind the screen,. Usually you can take it off and can clean. I had been using tweezers to pick throught the screen but could not get all of it. I think some trickled through the screen to the motor. I like the conair brand so just may buy one that shows you can take off the screen at the end. Otherwise I would have given a 5 star.

Some points to note: - I have never personally used the included concentrator nozzle, but I know it is for achieving a sleek finish when used properly. - One minor downside is that the dryer can be a bit noisy on the higher settings, which might be bothersome to some users. The hair dryer dries hair well. I need to test it more but so far it seems to be a bit more gentle on the hair, compared to other hair dryers. It has a Appliance Leakage Circuit Interrupter (ALCI) built into the plug to provide additional safety redundancy. An example the manual gave is if it was immersed in water, it would automatically cut the power. That’s a nice safety addition. The hair dryer is matte white, with matte rose gold accents. I have never thought a hair dryer can look gorgeous haha, it looks great in person. The filter at the back is removable for cleaning and it comes with a concentrator attachment head. Keep in mind, the concentrator is really hard to pull off so get ready for a workout! Perhaps it will be easier as I use it more often, and the ledges gets a bit more worn out. It is more on the expensive end but so far it appears to be worth it. If you already have a hair dryer, you should be fine with what you have, but if you’re looking for a new one, this is worth a consideration! Overall, good and very nice looking hair dryer!

This hair blower is good for my hair which is thin. It’s nice and light in weight.Not so sure it would be good for you thick hair and curly hair peopke. The cord is short but not much more than my previous Conair. Gonna say this is a safety issue. The only con is that the cool setting is not cool, actually it’s warm-ish. And I wanted a true cool setting other than the cold blast (which is not all that cold either). I preferred my old Conair which ‘died’ after 15 years!
