Quick, easy install
It took longer to get the old ones off than to install these. They're slightly thinner than the originals, but are working well so far. I installed them by myself, using some random things to prop the rear door open. My work was done in about 15 minutes.

Difficult installation, but good value and effective fix
The comedy instructions in the supplied leaflet almost compensated for the difficulty in installation. These were approximately half an inch longer than the original part, which means that you have to install both simultaneously and not sequentially. Other than that, the securing pins kept slipping out, rendering the ball and socket joints unusable. Frustrating when you're holding a heavy lid up with your other hand! (OK, the instructions said to get a relative to hold up the boot lid, but I didn't have a relative available.)After installation, they worked just fine and were a cost-effective fix.

Good fit, easy install, good resistance
Perfect fit for my 2009 Traverse. Very easy install, appreciated the video. The picture shows OEM side by side with replacement. The tube diameter is smaller than OEM, but it seems harder to close the lift gate than I ever remember - it has been 10 years however ....

Life saver
Thougt I was going to have to spend alot of money to get hatch fixed. You tubed it and found this brand for a very economical price. Easy to install

Doesn’t last.
Bought in June 2021. It’s October 2022 and they no longer work. Had to buy new ones again. Only lasted a year.
