We are so glad we got this book. While it may be a few years old, it's still very relevant. I like how the author details each park from the perspective of the dog and dog owner and even lets you know which are off-leash. Very helpful!

This book has been invaluable for our trips out with our dog. Most recently we went to Pacifica, CA to a dog friendly beach...then on a dog friendly hiking trail. From there, we drove to Half Moon Bay for a great lunch at a dog friendly cafe...ALL recommendations from the book and all great spots. GREAT book!

The best handbook on the Bay Area in existence. I have used these for years and needed an updated version.
