Ordered 2. One was dead on arrival
Does not work seamlessly. First took a while to connect after a lot of efforts. Second one was dead on arrival. Unfortunately I opened the pack after the return window closed. So couldn't return. I have used several mini display to HDMI / VGA connectors, which are cheaper and much better. Skip this one.

Loose Contact
Works !! First time, I had to do lot of circus, then realised that there was some loose connection. So try shaking the adapter, if you dont see signals

Can't say as the piece supplied was faulty. Well The product got replaced and supplied piece was Good enough to use. One thing has to admit that Amazon has the ball to satisfy customers .
