Size of approx. 49 inches (no other options) will serve well even though it a full 9" longer than necessary. The extra length will provide support when worn outside my parka with both underlying waders and OWB holster already aboard. Buckle sewn on very well and finished better than all previous units. No unexpected clasp disengagement with single side release mechanism being pressed. I can recommend only one enhancement for 10-20 year longevity: If I had to find fault Id have added a second tongue retainer elastic. Pulled it out of the box and it was kinda heavier than I expected. Im a little slow when it comes to clothing accessories so when i had to fit the belt through the loop of the clasp it took me 2 to 3 minutes to figure out how to fasten it. It goes in from the underside of it to the middle hole/slit over to and down through outside slit. Very simple, just took me some thought. Depending on which side you have the clip vs the clasp, the disconnecting action is very smooth. Its configured in such a way that when you disengage the clips, your hand is already traveling in the direction to the clasp being disconnected. The spring action also feels very responsive. Anyway... looks great with tactical pants and it doesn't match jeans. Also side note: the clip and clasp are fairly bigger than any standard buckle.
