Seems good so far
Hard to tell if the build quality is inferior to the OEM, as some reviews state. I did notice that the ride height is noticeably higher than my old sagging struts, which is a good thing. Matter of fact, I bought a new rear strut set because the bulldog stance was so obvious (went with TRQ brand). After doing that job, the Jeep now sits correctly.Install for the most part is easy and straightforward. Watching some YouTube vids will eliminate some surprises. If you live in the rust belt, spraying all of the bolts with penetrating oil ahead of time will help a lot. I recommend replacing the sway bar end links while you are doing the struts. They are 20 bucks and probably worn out anyways. Mine were so heavily corroded that the hex center was rusted making it impossible to remove, so I cut it off with a sawsall and then vicegripped the shaft while I strong-armed the nut off. PITA but I knew this would be the case, so I bought the end links at the same time as the struts. Unlike the rear struts, the fronts have a left and right, so pay attention to the position of the brake line and end links and you'll be fine. Be sure to get a front end alignment after!

Very good customer service!
Front struts didn’t fit my dads Jeep Patriot, the springs hit the frame even with car in the air. The rears were exact fit though. Customer service refunded me for the fronts and I sent them back. I was able to keep the rear struts and their good so far!

Easy to Install, Well Built and Priced Right. I DO RECOMMEND the Detroit Axle Brand Struts Assemblies
Complete and Easy to Install. I have over 10,000 miles on them and they are performing as they should.I DO RECOMMEND these Detroit Axle Brand Strut Assemblies.I got quoted $1200 by the shop to do all for Struts. I was able to do them myself (THE CALIBER is SO EASY TO WORK ON) at home, for under $300 and that was the full assemblies, springs and all, not just the strut.. I used Detroit Axel on the rear & Prime Choice Prime Choice Auto Parts CST100287PR Pair of Complete Strut Assemblies on the front. If you are mechanical enough to consider this, I recommend the full assemblies for DIY, the cost difference is minimal and they are far easier and SAFER to install. Use caution, but these are not beyond the average DIYer. I hope this review is helpful.

Street Use Only Lower Control Arm Bushings (rearward) already, just replaced in April or May..
I guess all n all it is OK, but I wasnt too happy that the Lower Control Arms Rearward Bushings were the Weak 2 CONTACT style in stead of the ones shown. And two months later they were already shot... keep in mind tho, it's a Jeep and there are a Lot of Cobblestone Roads here. So I need the Solid Rearward Bushings.

Not exactly a great pick.
I don't know if it was me or Amazon that spoofed up on this order. But the struts did not fit. Everything else did fit though. Other problem is that the lower control arm bushings do not last long. Probably only had about two thousand miles on the lower control arms before the bushings loosened up really bad causing the Jeep from when accelerating jerking to the left and decelerating jerking to the right. Had to definitely replace the lower control arms really quick. Lower control arms are really bad value. Struts were wrong size. But overall everything else I'm not having any issues with.

Easy install and work well
Took approximately an hour to install both sides and I have camber bolts on my 09' Patriot which meant a little extra messing around. When they say that no special tools are needed, they mean it. They do assume you have a metric socket set, hammer, etc... but you probably wouldnt be looking at this kit if you didn't have those things in your garage. These struts eliminated a nasty noise I was getting from a set of Monroe struts that went bad after 3,000 miles. Longevity is still the question, since I installed them 2 days ago. If I have a problem with them I will update my review accordingly. So far they drive better and sound better than the Monroe's that were supposed to be an "upgrade" from stock.
