Two Wests & Elliott Standard 6' High Fruit Cage 6' Wide 12' Long

I was a bit disappointed by this product as it turns out to be quite flimsy once erected despite the foot of pole stuck in the ground. That said, it's not blown away yet so maybe it's better than it seems. It was quite tricky to erect - the poles had been sawn off to their respective lengths and this provided rough edges making the fixings somewhat difficult to get in. I ended up filing down the rough edges with sandpaper before inserting the fixings. The bungs in the bottom of the poles were also quite tricky to get in so I spent a long time just putting the bits together. You definitely need 2 people to put the netting on and it comes in one huge piece so not that easy to handle. The fixings for the netting are a bit fiddly too.It seems to be doing the job (so far but we'll see once the veggies really get going) but it's a lot of money for what it is. Also, it was only after I received the package (with a catalogue in) that I discovered that these people also do a cage which is supposed to keep out deer etc (another words a bit beefier than this one) - I might well have ordered that one instead had I known.

This cage seems to keep the dog out but was a little flimsy so I've had to reinforce the corners and joins with tape and wrap a chicken wire fence around the base of the cage.There are no metal bars joining the vertical bars at ground level, so the verticals need to be secure in to the ground.Easy to set up, however I've used more cable ties to secure the netting.The netting permits bees to enter the area for pollination, but keeps the birds off the berries.With a padlock on the door it will even keep the grandchildren out when you want some peace.

This arrived promptly and was easy to put up. I'm disabled, but still was able to do the frame by myself, and my neighbours enjoyed helping to do the netting, I might have managed that alone, but it's sited very close to a fence topped by a neighbour's conifers, so the extra hands were useful).Over all, I'm really happy with it, but I think more green clips would have been useful.

good product Keeps birds off fruit and Veg. arrived on time and has done a good job would always use it in future

really struggled to fit the poles together, so did friends and neighbours....just too stiff.
