Leberna Horse Fly Mask for Horses with Ears and Nose Cover

I almost sent this back because the fit looked a bit odd and it was looser under the jaw than I usually expect fly masks to be. I am glad that I didn't however, my fussy mare appears to much prefer this one to any of the more aesthetically pleasing options we have tried. It stays on well, she hasn't managed to damage it when sticking her face in the hedges browsing, despite all the brambles and thorns. The eyes have kept their shape and because there is no fabric it doesn't get heavier when wet or take any time to dry. All in all it is one of the best masks I've bought, albeit very ugly!

Very pleased. This is the only fly mask that has stayed on madam. She has worked out how to dislodge every other one I’ve tried. She rubs her head on posts etc to peel the Velcro fastening back until it’s loose enough to get off.This mask has a double Velcro fastening, the second one protects the fastening below and fastens the opposite way, to prevent it being pulled back.As for the mask itself - tbh, when I first opened the pack I thought it would be too big and fully intended to send it back but I decided try it on her after she’d dislodged two of her older masks very quickly. Much to my surprise it fitted really well, and the raised mesh over the eyes is perfect for her comfort. Overall, seems good quality and would highly recommended.

This is easily the best fly mask I have tried on my pony. It appears very comfortable, is robust and stays on. If Leberna made any other fly products for horses I would definitely hve a look. It looks huge when first got out of the packaging but fits really well.

this mask is a fantastic idea the way it is designed as it keeps the eye guard away from the eyes the only reason i gave it four stars and not five is it is slightly rough inside the eye part were it has been stitched other than that i would highly recommend this mask.

Buy one of these each year, as has alot of wear, stays in place, might look odd on my boy but works against flies and the sun. All other masks I've tried only stay in place a short time, this one stays put

Good product. I got cob size for my 14.2 cob (average cob size head etc), but nose but didn’t cover his pink nose - there was 2” gap to the end of his nose.

I have to say my horse wasn't that keen on having on to start with but she's got used to it now. It's pretty ugly but it does a brilliant job and stays put when she rolls, well worth the money.

This fly mask is the best value I've found, and is now my go to for my horses. The fabric holds up well to constant wear, and cleans easily. The lower part of the mask tapers over the muzzle, so their nostrils aren't blocked. The eye cages are sturdy and stand well off the eyes, and don't touch the eye even if a determined horse manages to crush part of the fabric in. The longer length across the back and the very sticky Velcro means it stays on, and I haven't had to spend hours searching the pasture for a lost mask, but there's also stretch through the throat latch for comfort. The ears are plenty long for my TWH's, but it also fits my QH's thicker jaw well. Great mask!

Habe genau nach dieser Fliegenmaske gesucht und sie direkt für fünf Pferde bestellt. Alle anderen liegen immer am Auge an und/oder werden ausgezogen.Ich habe den Ohrenschutz und bei den Pferden, welche empfindlich sind, den Nüsternschutz abgeschnitten. Perfekte Fliegenmasken. Meine Pferde tragen sie zeitweise Tag und Nacht.

Zunächst war ich nicht besonders angetan von dieser Fliegenmaske. Zum einen sieht jedes Pferd damit aus wie Puck die Stubenfliege, aber das heißt natürlich auch, dass genügend Platz im Augenbereich ist, so dass die Wimpern nicht gegen den Stoff kommen. Apropos Stoff, den fand ich zunächst auch eher seltsam, da er sich so plastikmäßig und recht hart anfühlte. Aber nach dem ersten Regenschauer verstehe ich die Idee dahinter. Die Fliegenmaske ist auch nach einem Schauer tragbar und muss nicht sofort gewechselt werden, denn auch wenn sie nass ist, "trieft" sie nicht und trocknet schnell.Der Nasenbereich ist ziemlich lang, so dass bei meinem Fleckentier die Nüstern komplett bedeckt sind. Das ist auch gut so, denn er kriegt dort aufgrund der rosa Haut schnell Sonnenbrand. Das wird mit dieser Maske deutlich reduziert. Ansonsten ist die Passform gut, einzig die doppelten Klettstreifen (auch wenn es dadurch gut sitzt und hält) findet er total gruselig. Aber da die Passform mit Hilfe des Kletts so gut angepasst werden kann kommen auch keine Fliegen unter die Maske.Wenn die Optik also nicht stört, dann bekommt man mit dieser Maske eine wirklich gute, robuste und durchdachte Fliegenmaske. 5 STerne von unserer Seite!
