Excellent 50 amp extension cord
I use this on my generator to reach the house input jacks. It did the job. It's very well made and heavy. It comes with a nice rubber carry handle.

It extends the distance
This cord does a good job of carrying the electricity from one end of the cord to the other,Increasing the distance that you can park from the source of the electricity.

Not for full-time RVers
If you're a full-timer, just spend the extra $$ for a power cord that's long enough rather than using an extension cord.I'm a full time RVer. The cord lasted fine for about 2 years in rain, snow, and 120 degree temperatures. Then a couple days ago I heard a REALLY loud noise so I rushed outside and found it in flames. It was arcing really bad, like 2 or 3 feet high, popping and spitting flames. Super scary! It was so loud our neighbor from across the street and up the hill came running.I only bought it because my 25 foot power cord was just a couple feet too short. Both cords are now ruined because it failed between the connections.I'm not sure what rating it should have because I honestly don't know what happened. We'd had rain about a week before, but that didn't seem to do anything and it worked fine during that time. It could have been morning dew that seeped in there somehow or it could just have failed for some other reason, who knows. I just know I wouldn't trust another extension cord for full-time use. The ends that plug into the trailer and outlet were fine, the connections between the two cords were not.If I was RVing for fun and recreation I might use an extension cord again but not for full-time.Now to find out why the breaker didn't trip...

Quality and value tough combination to find!
I was looking for some #6 wire and cable for a home backup generator project. Heavy wire is very expensive and difficult to find in smaller quantities. Getting these "premade" cables offered the best value, and surprisingly superior cable quality overall. The shielding provides good moisture resistance and the outer insulation supple enough to make use as a permanent installation "doable". All in all, my dual installation of one as "feeder line" to breaker panel, and the other to the exterior wall generator connection box worked perfectly. Thanks!

Only reason not 5 is..
Awesome 50amp extension. Durable, fitted with proper prong configuration and awg; the only downside which is significant is how stiff and rigid it is. But it’s functional and I expensive compared to others so I’d buy it again. Just doesn’t coil well or stow easily.

Thick Cord
This is a pretty beefy 50 amp extension cord designed to handle 50 amps. We use it for an extension cord for our electric car. So far it works great.

Stiff
Spend more money if you want to coil this up. The sheathing is very stiff.
