Wolf Almanac, New and Revised: A Celebration Of Wolves And Their World

This book is really informative and beautiful. I could not have found a more detailed and beautifully photographed book on Wolves, and it is exactly what I was looking for. The hardcover book makes it a delight, a collector's item, and it would be a waste to use it merely as a coffee table book. It is simple to read, and nicely laid out, very professionally done. It gives such an intimate look into the lives of wolves, and is suitable for both amateurs and hardcore wolf-lovers.

The book is awesome, it has tons of good info, pictures are beautyful, and it's very easy to read. I would only have loved a little more about physiological info, as I'm a vet student, but it's amazing anyway. I learned a lot from this book, and I even got another of the books that is often referred to, by L. David Mech: "Wolf: Ecology and Behaviour of an Endangered Species". If you love wolves, this is for sure a MUST READ.

This book is beautiful. It has been useful and every page is breath taking. Without marking down for this, I think the only thing I was wanting was almost a science text book that explains more about the animals on a biology level. This book is a huge introduction into wolves - don't expect much more. This book works well at keeping my attention. I have learned a few things from this book. You will learn a lot and I am proud to say I have added this to my collection of Wolf books.

My step-son is currently obsessed with wolves, this book is perfect for his curiosity. I didn't spend a lot of time looking at it but one thing I found interesting was the fact that there was a listing of wolves at all the zoos in the US. As we are members of the Toledo Zoo, and try our best to see other zoos, that list was awesome! He loves it, and he's not easy to please so this comes highly recommended.

Photographic book more for the pictures than the information. Beautifully done and easy to read. Nice décor for your coffee table and guests. This book is for me a one time read didn't have any information that wasn't already known but the Pictures made it worth the price.

Although I'm just getting into the book, I give it a thumbs-up so far. Good photography as well.

This is a must have for anyone that loves wolves! Lots of facts and information on wolves. Amazing photography. Bought this for my daughter who is a huge wolf lover. She couldn't be happier with all the picturs and good information.

この本はオオカミの色々な事が英語と写真で説明されています。私は写真が見たくて買ったのですが文字が多くてちょっと残念(x_x) でも小さいけれど写真はたくさん載ってます。とても細かく書かれているので英語が得意な人にはオススメです。写真については野生の物から動物園、ペット、絵、白黒写真、など広く載っています。英語をあまり読んでいないのですか年数ごとのオオカミ狩りの賞金の表やオオカミの生息地などが載っていてオオカミの図鑑といった感じです。個人的にはまあまあ楽しめます。この本の写真を見て殺されたくさんのオオカミが小屋に吊るされているのを見た後でペットとして犬と掛け合わされたオオカミが飼われている写真を見ると複雑な気分です。長いレビューになってしまいましたが興味がある人は是非買って見て下さい。
