Sickly sweet, arrive smashed-up, not a savory snack.
Trader Joe’s stopped carrying their onion chips, and I was broken hearted. I thought these were the same product, but they are not. They arrive vacuum packed in soft plastic/foil package, no protection from impact so are crushed in little pieces on arrival, and they have a hard, sugary coating, much too sweet for a savory snack. More like candy-coated sweet onion chips, blech. Not recommended unless you like candied dehydrated onion.

Finally! A tasty fried onion chip!!!
Pricey but delicious! Great snack but eat them in moderation, there is a decent amount of sugar and fat content. It loses a 'star' for shipping, don't ship this product in a bag! Come on folks! You ship onion 'Chips' in a BAG? Well duhhhh.....you'll get mostly crumbs once it gets to your door step.

Unfortunate Shipping Mishap
The chips do taste great, however the crushed package leaves me with 3/4 being onion dust. This is a non returnable item so I'll have to become creative on a recipe or two.

Similar to Dang Onion Chips
I haven't been able to find Dang Onion chips in my local stores for a few years now so was excited to find these and they didn't disappoint! Exactly like them but comes in a large bag so they last a very long time as long as you seal the bag properly.

Poor packaging equals smashed chips
Expensive onion chips smashed to smithereens because it should've been placed in a box so all the different handlers can't smash them. U can guess 70 - 80 percent were the size of my fingertip. Very dissatisfied I can't serve crumbs!!

Fresh but mostly crumbs
I love Trader Joe’s onion chips and was happy to find this in larger bags (less package waste!). It tastes fresh but comes in mostly broken pieces and crumbs. The nutrition label doesn’t seem accurate at all, esp comes to the carbonhydrates. It’ll be nice if they correct that, and maybe drop the tapioca starch, which isn’t necessary.

So good!!!
I was so glad to find these. I used to get onion chips by Dang (who makes flavored coconut chips). So sadly, they discontinued them a few years ago after I ordered them only 2-3 times. And that was after Trader Joe's discontinued their version of Funions. I was afraid they would get soggy in a single large bag that I'm not going to finish for at least a couple of months. One month on, so far so good!FYI, this product's nutrition info has a really large amount as a serving. Another brand labels their product with a typical snack sized 1 oz serving. Calories and salt are comparable.
