Worked As Designed
Worked great as designed. This is the puller that GM states to use in the service manual. Where it really shines is pulling the injectors closest to the firewall. The other six I got out using a heel bar. Good-to-have tool, if you work on a Duramax.

It worked for me
Note: Hanes tech manual says to use the tool to pry AWAY from the injector. If you're doing your own injectors and you've never done this stuff before (like I was), just buy the tool. Better than messing around with pry bars underneath your valve covers.

Proper Tool for a Pro Job
You need this tool to properly remove GM LB7 Duramax fuel injectors. Don't be cheap when it comes to removing injectors. This will save you a lot of time and ensure you don't damage anything under the valve cover. Way too many home mechanics remove injectors using the old high-pressure lines and a small crowbar or large screwdriver. This will save you time and headaches. Trust me. There are 2 or more youtube videos on how to use it. It's very simple once you know how to.

Worth the money
Good product, job can be done without but this makes it a lot easier and definitely helps prevent you from damaging your expensive injectors.

Don't chance it by pulling your injectors with the lines
This tool works like a dream. Took me a minute to figure out how to use it, since there's no documentation on how to use this thing. But once i figured it out it worked flawlessly. Way better that pulling the injector with the lines. Just insert the tool in the bolt hole from the injector retainer bracket (with the bracket still on the injector) with the two tabs facing the injector. Insert a wrench or socket on the hex part and give it a little tug torwards you and the injector will come right out .

This thing is tough.
We used this thing a little harder than it was designed to be. But it held up just fine. We just had to do injectors in an LB7 and had a 3/8 drive pull handle and about 2 foot of pipe for a cheater. After my #1 tech tapped out and gave up on a stuck injector I braced up and pulled my heart out. Much to my surprise the injector popped out. With the injector cup attached! We were certain the puller wouldn't survive this truck after it pulled 3 injectors with the cups but it looks like new.

I used this on my 2003 LB7 Chevrolet silverado and it worked great, injector replacement on these models isn't the easiest so it was nice to have a tool that made removing the actual injectors a breeze when you finally get to them. Heres a quick tip from my experience:(If you aren't wanting to change the injector cups) once you have the injector puller on, use quick and lighter pulls(almost a rocking motion) to remove the injector instead of one really strong pull.

Must have for LB7 injectors
This worked perfect for my 03 LB7 injectors. Great tool for half the cost of others. I highly recommend this.

Works great, makes injectors a breeze.
Made doing the headgaskets in my lb7 alot less painful. With this tool you get it in place and barely touch the breaker bar and it pops the injector out no problem. Worth every penny. Just stick the nub into the hole in the injector hold down and use a breaker bar with a 15mm socket on either side.

works great when used as intended
Works great, used this tool close to a dozen times now with no issues. Will also order the 6779 for the newer gen duramax.
