Geometry and culture
A bit presumptuous in the conclusions that are made about where and how geometry is used by cultures or people as communication about the divine. Some of the original messages of the symbols get lost in this text or are not included. Good read to get thinking about the topic, but not the most accurate.

Interesting
Interesting book about geometry and how it comes into play in our daily lives from the beginning of time. The wording is a bit too complicated at times. I wish it were more straight forward and simple.

Geometry is everywhere in our universe.
This book started off slow with beginner information, but later chapters brought in new philosophy and wisdom. The pictures added to the superb design.

Not really a guide to "The Heavens".
This book contains thousands of diagrams, designs, architectural features, etc. which hardly add up to the gateway to the heavens! I returned it.

A Well Compiled Book That Makes Sacred Geometry Understandable and at the same time Intimidating
This book is a detailed, thorough introduction to what is commonly referred to as "sacred geometry" and how this affects our perception of reality. That being said, this is one of those unique books where the star rating system on Amazon is really inadequate to describe its quality. The book is inherently flawless in terms of what it presents (there are grammatical errors here and there, it could have used a better editor), but that is where the caveat comes in. If you are new to this topic, the book is a complex introduction to it for you. But you need to keep in mind that Buddhist (and other) monks spend their entire lives in the contemplation and practice of what the book describes, and for any one of us with less time and dedication, this topic in many ways will "go over your head." This is the first book I've read on sacred geometry and I think the author did a very good job of explaining how the constructs of human perception of the Universe are tied into geometry. But gaining a full, in depth understanding of what this means... Well, its really beyond the scope of any one human lifetime (and the author admits to that). So I recommend this book to anyone interested in the topic. I just caution you to look at it as a detailed introduction into something that is so profound and in many ways incomprehensible that it can serve as only the beginning of a path or direction in life to understanding the nature of what it means to be human more deeply. For myself, I feel the book is a very valuable resource, yet at the same time I am overwhelmed by it.It might reasonably be said that if you contemplated the nature of sacred geometry wholeheartedly, it could drive you mad. Or, it could lead you to what the eastern religions and philosophies refer to as Enlightenment. Either way, its a long path. A path worth taking if you have the dedication and heart for it... This book is a good guide for starting that journey and it is clear the author put a lot of time and effort into researching the topic...
