GEFU Fleissiges Lieschen Strainer Berry Press

I was a little hesitant to purchase since I was hoping not to spend this much to strain seeds from a berry puree since we don't do it all that often. That said, this is one of those areas that is nearly impossible without the right tool and this is certainly the right tool. By far the best we have tried!! I am finding that we are using berries more often since this works so well for removing the seeds.

A little pricey, but well-made and does the job.

Wood press kept coming off when I was pureeing strawberries but the end result was excellent. I'm guessing it takes a bit of learning, but its such an easy item to use I dont know what I'd need to learn besides how big pieces should be to mush and if item should be cooked. Time will tell.

mesh its to fine, so you will be spinning like crazy to see results. if there is any resistance with the fruit the whole thing will fall apart, you can put maybe one fist of fruit inside, so when you spin the handle will stay, not move. For this price i expect something much better. Unfortunately i can't return it passed the 30 day amazon return, just crap.

I did like the size of the strainer and the hooks that hold it in place over the bowl. However, the handle and roller do not provide any better action than rubbing with a spatula...and is just something else to wash. However, I did not return this because I could't find another stainless steel sieve like this (with the hooks) and I had to use it when I got it. For the price, a terrible value. For the usefulness of part of it, I am pleased.

I'm so pleased, this tool is larger and more sturdy than I expected. The metal is thick, the mesh is fine, and the scraper works so well and the whole thing is very industrial. Super pleased. Works well with even the smallest seeds like raspberries. Very happy.

Works incredibly well. I used to have to use a small strainer and spatula to manually separate out seeds from pureed strawberries. This strainer/press is so easy to use and cut down the time it takes to strain out seeds to just seconds. The fine grain mesh is perfect!

This is awkward to use and very difficult to clean - the top rim lets seeds to get under it, so took alot of water flushing; hard to get seeds out. I am sorry I missed my return deadline (I was out of town). This is junk and now will go in the garbage.

Tempi di consegna rispettati. Oggetto ben pensato e costruito, l'ho comprato per passare i cereali nelle pappe della mia figlia e svolge bene la sua funzione. Unico problema è da attribuire non al prodotto e alla sua funzionalità ma al tempo da dedicare a questa operazione, passare i cereali richiede una cottura lunga mentre le farine istantanee sono praticissime in questo senso. La qualità del cereale cotto è indiscutibilmente superiore da un punto di vista nutrizionale e con il passacereali si puó ampliare la scelta di grani da cucinare nel caso delle pappe per neonati visto che le farine offrono una scelta in confronto ben limitata.

I make Rik Stein's recipe for Mediterranean soup and, up to now, have found the sieving of the liquidized ingredients a real chore having the keep pushing the mush agianst the sides of a sieve with the back of a ladle. I've just made another batch and was delighted by the way this sieve with a rotating roller pushed the mush effortlessly against the side of the sieve leaving a dryish ball of mush to throw away and a bowl full of lovely smooth soup. Bliss!I've also made tomato puree with ease.

Ich habe das Passiersieb hauptsächlich deshalb gekauft, weil ich etwas suchte, um zuverlässig die Fasern aus Mangopüree zu entfernen. Diese können sonst den Genuss von selbstgemachter Mangocreme oder Mangoeis ganz schön trüben, wenn man wieder mal die falschen Mangos erwischt hat ;-)Ich hatte lange überlegt, ob ich statt dessen eine schwere Passiermühle mit wechselbaren Sieben kaufen soll aber wer weiß, ob ich jemals Kartoffeln oder Gemüse grob passieren will und das wäre dann wohl doch mit Kanonen auf Spatzen geschossen. Also kurz gesagt, das Passiersieb macht, wozu es gekauft wurde. Es ist sehr stabil und schön fein. Die Mangos sind wirklich schnell durchgeleiert und keine einzige Mangofaser ist im Püree. Es ist auch praktisch, dass man dadurch ein zusätzliches Edelstahlsieb hat - hat mir schon immer gefehlt :-)Einzig - beim Zusammenbau soll man die Holzrolle mit dem breiten Ende nach unten tun aber ich kann beim besten Willen kein breiteres Ende erkennen. Aber egal, Hauptsache es funktioniert. Ach ja, der Zusammenbau geht super einfach - nur bei Auseinanderbauen braucht man ein bisschen Kraft in den Daumen, das sitzt ganz schön straff. Aber vielleicht geht das mit der Zeit noch etwas leichter.

Das Sieb ist sehr gut verarbeitet. Ich habe es mir bestellt um Tomaten zu passieren. Dafür eignet sich das Sieb allerdings nicht. Dafür ist es zu fein. Ich habe Wein angesetzt und mit dem Sieb die Feinstoffe ausgefiltert. Dafür eignet es sich hervorragend. Für zuviele grobe Teile ist es nicht geeignet. Für flüssigere Stoffe mit Feinteilen (die raus sollen) ist es gut geeignet.

Ottimo prodotto, si vede la qualità. Affidabile e pratico per creme e passati di verdure. Consigliato, lo riacquisterò se necessario.
