Great treadmill
This treadmill is excellent and is extremely well constructed. I am 6ft 1” and 210lbs and it easily copes with my weight. The controls are bright and easy to use and it is not very noisy at 7.8km/hr which is my walking pace. There were a few niggles on delivery which were easy to fix:-1. The lubrication pipe looks like it was not properly bent as it sits near the bottom side of its well. I had to buy a lubricator with flexible nozzle to access it.2. The oil bottle had leaked in transit and was only half full.3. The manual instructions on lubrication are not clear. I had to google translate the German text to work out that lubrication is every 50 hours. There is no indication of how much lubricant to use.4. The belt was not sitting centrally on the rear roller and the adjustment method is not covered by the manual. I had to remove the 2 rear corner covers to work out the adjustment method.I would definitely recommend this treadmill.

What I think about the Sportstech F17 Treadmill
This is a great piece of modern kit. Kudos to the manufacturers, it arrived much earlier than anticipated so don't be put off by the need to pre-order. It's larger than it appears in the images and doesn't require any setup whatsoever. You can be up and running 1 minute after you remove it from its box. It's a bit heavy (about 40kg) so even though I can easily collapse and wheel it about, I tend to leave it in place most of the time. It is quite easy to understand its controls, so you barely need the manual. When I first started it was making a loud noise from the engine section. I contacted the suppliers, and they were quite willing to ship it back to Germany for free, but after about a week the noise stopped and it's been fine ever since (almost 5 months now). They also credited me with about 10% discount for the inconvenience, so I was pleased with their customer support. What didn't I like? It's unfortunate they don't appear to have engineers in the UK they can send to fix it. While they are ready to do so, sending the unit to Germany is a huge hassle, not to talk of the delay, and need to hang on to its massive box.I'm not a fan of the Kino Map software mainly because my intention was to connect the treadmill to my TV and go on virtual runs and that hasn't worked very well. It does, however, connect to other trail software packages, but these usually work on tablets, not PCs.I found the onboard MP3 player useless. Indeed I thought it didn't work at all until a week ago when I suddenly realised that the volume was just extremely low, so that's a useless addition especially since I can hardly send it back for a replacement.I haven't been able to get the pulse belt to work at all, even with brand new batteries, and lastly,I often have to centre the tread with the supplied Allen key as it tends to drift to one side or the other. Its a bit narrow, so if you have balance issues you may need to consider the FX300 which is, wider, slightly longer and collapses into less space - but is also a lot more expensive! I'll contact the suppliers and if they can fix the issues I may come back and edit this review. It came with a few tools, but apart from the Allen key, no one can tell me what they are for. What do I like about it?It is a great machine for walking or jogging, it's portable so doesn't take up a permanent space, it feels solid, works great regarding its main function, and isn't very noisy. Indeed I would have loved to rate it a 5 but had to deduct a star because of the few features that don't work. It is quite easy to fold, but the buttons enabling this pop out quite forcibly. It goes up to 12KM an hour speed which is much more than adequate unless you are a track athlete. For my purposes though, it works quite well and I'm quite pleased with it.Would I buy it again? I'd probably buy the FX300 upgrade if I could afford it.Update: You can use Kinomap without needing to connect it to your treadmill. The software has a mode where instead it will detect your face and use your motion to detect movement. Or you could just buy a run pod and use Zwift treadmill app, or use Treadmill trails, or Bitgym app instead.

It is exactly as described
I have only had the machine for a couple of days but I can say it is very easy to store - I am over 15 stone and can run quite easily on it. It is fairly simple to use. If you are a serious runner then it is almost certainly not for you (they have other models) however for someone like me who just likes running but is not keen on running in the street or cross country its brilliant - I really like it. I did have some early issues with the delivery and it did arrive just over a week later than I expected however the guy from InnovaMaxx eventually sorted it all out for me.

Quality machine!
The machine only arrived 2 days ago and so I have yet to explore all the different running programmes. It is very easy to assemble and operate and looks very streamline. The running surface feels smooth and fantastic and is a good length. I'm really impressed with this machine - perfect size for home use. A quality piece of equipment!
