Not delicious at all, artificial flavor!
First off I am a purist when it comes to tea, I prefer no sweetners, little to no artificial flavorings in tea and just like certain teas with milk and sweetner. I was hoping to really like this tea since Genmaicha is my favorite green tea and I love Ferrero Roche or anything chocolate hazelnut. Unfortunately this tea is neither genmaicha nor chocolate hazelnut like. The green tea tastes more like an oolong, it has that oxidized flavor nothing like a sencha or astringent, the leaves are a sad green color green. The cocoa husks are minimal and offer very little true chocolate taste, if you’ve had cocoa husk tea and are expecting some of those nice roasted chocolatey notes... there are none. There is barely any white popped rice, mostly 50/50 leaf and rice crisps. The rice crisps look old, brown not golden... maybe because of the added flavoring? Even the nuts and cello bag had this brown tint to it. By the way the tea hazs NO HAZELNUTS it has ALMOND slices?!?! They mention hazelnut brittle in the ingredients but I couldn’t identify one piece of that. The tea smells better than it tastes. The brew tastes flat, artificial, can’t even tell it’s green tea or genmaicha or chocolate, more of an artificial roasted nut flavor. The tea is somewhat bitter but drinkable but the artificial aftertaste was unbearable to me. I love T2 and have a ton of theiyteas but is one was a big fail to me.

Delicious new favorite
They serve this tea at a high-end restaurant that is a favorite of mine. I was very happy to find it on Amazon. The praline/chocolate flavors make it feel like a sweet treat without the extra calories.

Chocolate/Hazelnut Green Tea (4- Stars)
Because "Jade Mountain" when used to describe green tea doesn't evoke chocolate and hazelnut, I didn't realize until too late that the flavor profile included those. Upon learning that, I honestly thought I'd hate this tea since I don't like flavored coffee. Tea is a different beast, however, and is often flavored with various herbs and spices, even if chocolate isn't usually one of them. The result isn't bad -- just not fantastic for a purist like me.The first listed ingredient is genmaicha, a green tea combined with roasted rice. I love genmaicha, so that's all good. It also contains hazelnut brittle pieces, cocoa husks, sweet blackberry leaves, chicory root, almonds, carob, and natural and artificial flavors. The company advertises this blend as a way to get your chocolate fix without the calories of candy, and I'd like to report that it works. The aroma of chocolate and hazelnut is so strong that you can trick your brain into thinking you are about to consume it. Yes, the blend does contain a little sugar, lending a hint of sweetness to the brew. The box doesn't show nutritional info anywhere, leading me to believe that each serving contains less than 1 calorie. This T2 Jade Mountain coffee is made in Germany and distributed by a US company. It comes in a cellophane bag that doesn't hold up after opening; I have to store mine in a Ziploc plastic bag.Although this isn't a tea I'd want to drink every day, it is interesting enough to keep in the pantry and to use occasionally.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Unusual Pairing
I would not have mixed chocolate with green tea. It is a unique mix that includes Gen mai cha (roasted rice, green tea, popped rice), brittle pieces (sugar, hazelnut), cocoa husk, sweet blackberry leaves, chicory root, almonds, carob fruit, and flavouring. It is sweet with definite chocolate and nut tones. It is sweet: I usually take my tea plain without added sugar or cream. I am mixed on this tea. It is not dessert in a cup but as a long time dieter, it is sufficient to quell a full on chocolate craving. My brother loves it but if it is sweet and chocolate he is there. I find it is growing on me, definitely not going to be a swap for my everyday brew but nice for an occasional change of pace. 3.5 stars

Delicious and subtle
I’m a relatively new green tea convert, liking the elegant simplicity of it. This tea has the elegance of a classic green tea while adding in the happiness of chocolate. Yes, happiness. The sweet scent perfumes the air as you hold a gently steaming cup to your nose, absorbing the scent before that first sip. I wouldn’t call it sweet, per se (my sweet tooth begs to differ), but it’s the scent that adds a sweet layer to the overall brew. Careful to follow brewing instructions, though—too hot water and too long of a steep will make any green tea bitter.

Gen Mai Cha with a Cocoa Twist
This is a Gen Mai Cha green tea mixed with a some cocoa and nutty flavors (hazelnut and almond). There should be enough tea for roughly 10-12 normal size cups. You will need to have your own storage for the tea once opened as the bag the tea comes in is not resealable.

Strange mix of green tea and pralines
I love drinking green tea and was curious about how pralines and chocolate would pair with it. I was surprised to find that it was pretty good! I like pralines so maybe the aroma drew me in but it was tasty. I didn't taste the chocolate very much, however. The tea came in a non-resealable plastic bag so you can transfer it into an airtight container after using some of the tea. Finally, I wish they wouldn't put artificial flavoring in the tea, it just isn't needed.

Takes some getting used to
I read ‘loose leaf green tea’ and expected a good bitter green tea. NOT SO. The chocolate flavor really comes out. It’s a bit odd if you are expecting green tea :D but otherwise is a nice flavor. It comes in a plastic bag in the box, so you will want to have a tea tin to store your tea in immediately after opening it.
