Husband loves this. Great smell, wasn't greasy, it moisturized his beard really well. Good value for the money you don't need to use much and you can smell it all day.

I have been having beard the last years and have tried many product in different budgets. I came to Cremo by accident once the brand I was using was not available. And let me tell you that I got amazed by the quality of these products. Cremo is not water, this is a real cream with great scent that really conditions your beard. Keep in mind that when you apply it, it smells a lot (but I love it), and once you what it of it leaves you condition and with just the proper amount of scent in your beard. Buy it, Try it and love it.

The smell is super strong upon initial application. It seriously smells like the first step out of your car when you've made it to the cabin in the mountains. its like they ground up a bunch of pine trees and packaged them immediately and shipped it overnight. The scent is super strong like cedar/pine trees and for me its not a great smell. It smells like I was working on cutting some lumber or clearing some trees. The smell doesnt last long so thats a plus for me but still, its pretty strong and not what I was expecting. The softness was noticeable and quick but it leaves my hair less manageable. I have thick, coarse, and curly hair so for people with straighter hair im sure itll be great. My beard looks shinier and cleaner but its poofier now. seems like a good product but because the smell and my hair type. not for me

I have been growing a beard and mustache for about 5 years now. I keep my mustache at about 1/2" and my beard at about 1.5". My mustache hairs at the top of my mustache seem to want to grow straight out, not bending down. I bought this product to calm my mustache cowlick. I was first unsatisfied, as I put this in my mustache, washed it out in a minute, and those top mustache hairs still stuck out the same amount. I re-read the instructions for use, and I see this product is not really a "relaxer" instead it is a conditioner (much less harsh). I have since started using this product daily in the shower. I wash my beard with beard wash, I wash my face, then I rinse both and apply about a 1/2" dollop of this conditioner all over my beard and mustache. I then wash my body and then rinse everything off... this means this conditioner stays in my beard and mustache for maybe 2-3 minutes. (longer than the 30 sec recommendation) My mustache hairs are now looking good, laying down a bit as I prefer. My beard is also becoming more manageable. The smell is great, love the cedar. This is a good product, and I will purchase again.

I’ve never used another brand so I can’t compare it, but it keeps my mustache softer for most of the day and doesn’t have a strong smell.

I believe another reviewer described it as "wet ashes." That's pretty accurate. The good news is the smell completely rinses out after the application is done. You only really smell it while using it. The product itself works pretty well. I've used it once a day during showers for about a week and definitely notice my beard is softer to the touch. My routine is shampoo beard, rinse, then apply a healthy-sized dollop of the Cremo for about 45-60 seconds despite the instructions for only 30 seconds. My beard is pretty full, so I feel the longer application time can only help. It takes awhile to fully rinse out, similar to any other hair conditioner. It also leaves a slimy-feeling residue on the skin after rinsing it out of the beard, so make sure to use this first if applying while showering. Overall 4/5.
