I also bought the New Ray Chinook and they are both great models, with some imperfections but great to play with. This is a model to play with (being a lttle bit careful) my 3 (almost four) years old boy loves it.

Rotors do not lock in place. When child tries to spin them they just fold up.Didn't even last a minute. A helicopter toy that you can touch the rotor is just worthless to a child.Might make a good display piece, terrible as a toy

THis metal toy has been a huge hit! Our son really enjoys and and since it's made of metal it really can take rough play. The rotars are plastic, but they have held up.

I actually bought this for my 3-year old, despite all the pointy parts and he adores it. He eventually smashed off the rear propeller but the front one pops off/is removable and so resists breaking for that reason.

The rotors top and back on this toy break very easily. Looks great, feels great, but doesn't really last with any normal playing. More to look at than to use to play with.
