Works for our older horse very well. He is much more comfortable.

My 25 year old gelding has horrible confirmation in his back legs. They have now gotten arthritis in them and his hocks were so swelled that when he walked he would swing his leg out and it would twist to to come back back in. He was in pain and I used pervacox to relieve it. Tried corta flex, did the load for one week and was absolutely amazed at the difference his leg was doing. Swelling was down, heat was no more. First time I actually felt bone in his joints, front and back, no puffiness. Saw a difference in about 2 weeks. Stopped the pain killer and he is walking much better. Confirmation still is bad but he walks more fluid.

The media could not be loaded. I’m not sold on joint supplement. Neither are the researchers. Some people believe that joint supplements definitely improve the health and condition of the joints. Others believe they do absolutely jack. I’m somewhere in the middle.I know that the effectiveness of the supplement depends on the ingredients. I like that Corta-Flx contains Hyaluronic Acid. I like that this is alfalfa based, which makes it more palatable to the ponies. I also like that this is a pelleted supplement as it makes it harder for my horse to sort his feed. I have not found any horses that have rejected Corta-Flx.Does it work? Maybe.Does it improve the condition of my horse’s joints? I have no idea.Does it make my horse more comfortable? I think so. Ask him.Does it make my horse more fluid in his movements? I believe so. But since I have no way to do a clinical trial where I can isolate the variables, I can’t 100% tell you.Does it take less time for my horse to work out of his stiffness, especially when being asked for bend, in my warm up? Yes.Did the improvements start when I added Corta-Flx to his feed ration? YesAre all of these improvements caused by the addition of Corta-Flx? Be careful! Have been shipped U-gard instead of Corta-Flex (both by Manna-Pro in similar tubs).And U-gard is 1/2 the price. Didn’t notice til after opened it up and started food packets for my horse. This has now happened to me twice!

I've had my senior gelding on this supplement since I brought him home three years ago and he has been moving beautifully. My dear friend gave me the gift of one of the horses I've loved for the last 16 years or so, and she's been a lesson/show horse/jumper/mother at a boarding facility for most of that time. She had never been on joint supplements and she's twenty this year. She was pretty stiff-legged when she got here a year ago. I started her on this supplement at that time. A week ago I took her out to pasture with the others, and saw her racing around, kicking up her heels, and telling the younger mare to get back because she's the boss. I think it works very well, and I like not having to give her drugs to make her comfortable. All four of mine are on it, and my eldest is probably mid-twenties and pretty happy. I think it's good stuff.😊

This product is great for my old horses’ joints! I have a 22 year old and a 29 year old. They move around like they are much younger. It’s easy to mix it in their feed.
