Alegria shoes are the best as far as I'm concerned. The support and quality of the shoe is outstanding. They have fun styles and great colors. That being said, this is a company based in Ontario California, but they use European sizing on their shoes. If you see them advertised using US sizes, (i.e. 8, 9, 10), as in the case of this purchase I made, be leery: you are probably not going to receive the right size. The shoe I purchases was listed as a size 10 - I should have known better, but I took the chance that the seller had compared sizes with the Alegria website. They did not. In EU sizes, a 41 is a woman's size 9.5-10. I received a size 40 which is a 9. Amazon is cool about the return, but I'm still disappointed. The Alegria shoes are the best if you have issues with your feet, like a Morton's toe, where the second toe is longer than the big toe. The toe box on Alegria shoes are the only ones that haven't squished my toes. Of course, that's only if I get the RIGHT SIZE shoe.

I've been wearing alegria shoes for years, mostly paloma and dayna. I wanted to try a new style and ended up loving these even more. I wear a 37 size, and generally go with a 7 or 7.5 if it doesn't have the euro size listed. I'm fairly sure both are a 37. I wish I had bought other styles of this, in that it's a great medium height between the paloma or belle flatter heel. I don't like wearing leather, and it's the only thing I would change about this shoe. Alegria is starting to use more synthetics, and I have tried those styles and they definitely are holding up! These did get the dreaded 'squeak' after a month of wear. I found a trick online that works perfect for alegrias and possibly other shoes. Just take out the sole and put a fabric softner sheet cut to the relative shape of the sole underneath the sole between the shoe bed. It's been working for months. For more casual and athletic shoes I only wear Altras, and have found they are the running shoe version of alegria for wide toe boxes and all day comfort.

Finding a pair of shoes to accomodate aging feet can be a challenge. I found them in these. I was hoping I would, as these are my 2nd pair. I am an ER nurse, and I am wearing these to work my 12 hour shifts. Kudos, Alegria.

I admired a pair of Alegria shoes someone was wearing in the PT waiting room. She said she was a nurse & swears by them, how they actually sell replacement inserts for the shoes since hold up so well. She pointed me to a brick & mortar store so I could see how they felt but said Amazon had the cure colors & styles. I’ve been trying to find a shoe that doesn’t hurt my feet for years. I had to give up heels, all my cute shoes, it seemed. is so wonderful to find a shoe that’s comfy, well made, and still cute & kitschy instead of looking like old lady practical shoes. I am so pleased to be comfortable AND stylish.

These are comfortable and true to size. I have no feet issues ( yet) and have a regular arch ( not too high or low). I usually get stability shoes and I don't opt for arch support because it always ends up being in the wrong place and poking into my arches. However, these shoes have the right amount of arch support and it is in the right place. I am in between sizes, so I expected the 37(7-7.5) to be slightly big which it is. But I would rather wear a 37 than 36. I usually wear 6.5 or 7 ( but mostly 7) in most shoes. These fit very nicely with thick socks ( as thick as hiking or winter socks) and in thin ones a bit loose, but the strap adjustment comes in handy. They are very comfortable with enough room for my big toe. I got the tree embroidery one, and the color is not as yellow as in the pictures, which is good for me. I wish there was an option in this color without the embroidery, because it limits the choice of socks one can wear.

A little background information before I launch into my review...I am a teacher and on my feet all day. I am constantly searching for comfortable shoes. My mother saw Allegria shoes on QVC. These shoes have build-in orthotics, so while they are a little more money, they are supposed to be extra supportive. Thankfully, Amazon had these for much cheaper, and thanks to its great return policy, we decided to give them a shot.These shoes are made in Europe, so they come in European sizes. Unfortunately, I can only see the listing in US sizes, so I ordered this pair in a 7 - it turned out to be a 37 in EU sizes. (My mom ordered an 8, which turned out to be a 38).These shoes are VERY lightweight, even though they look like they would be bulky. When on your feet, they feel almost like Styrofoam, but in a good way. When first put these shoes on, my toes seemed 'snug' but not tight or uncomfortable. I've had shoes that have been too small and crushed my toes - not so with these shoes. I think the weird feeling came from the orthotics. I just wasn't used to the feeling of being supported.I wore them for a few days at work, and last Monday, I wore them for 12 hours - after school, to a dentist appointment, and then to dinner. NOT ONE BIT OF PAIN. They were comfortable all day, I felt absolutely zero discomfort. It solidified my decision: these shoes were awesome!On top of all of this, the design of the shoe is adorable. The maryjane-style shoes are a black iridescent material, almost like dragon scales. These are also Velcro, so it makes for convenience.Also - these shoes were wide on me. I have a slightly narrow foot, and usually run 7 to 7.5 in US sizes. You can see that these shoes run a bit wide, however.If you're on your feet all day like me...Give these shoes a shot!

Love this pattern shoe it goes with so many outfits and adorable with jeans! I have many pairs of Alegria shoes and Kourtney is my favorite style and fit. So very comfortable to wear all day into night. I have terrible foot pain and lower back pain, if not for these shoes I would not be able to keep working they are that good.
