A comprehensive book on takeout doubles
This book covers a wide range of topics about takeout doubles, including what sort of hand should make a double because it is too strong for an overcall, responding to takeout doubles, cuebids in response to a takeout double, responsive doubles, and other takeout-double topics.

Only Comprehensive Book on The Topic - Only Book Source for Key Info
Especially check out Chapter Twelve: Continuing with 18+ Points but only Three-card Support. This is the way many experts now play, and it is not available in any other book. I am writing an article (which will be available free at 3nt.xyz) with an overview and extension of these and related ideas. This is a great book!

Informative and a pleasure to read
Mike Lawrence is my favorite bridge writer and probably makes every players list of the best writer for those with less than 2500 master points. He knows what he is talking about and, just as important, makes if fun to learn with an enjoyble style of writing. Buy his books - they are all "keepers". His two software programs, "Conventions" and "Two over One" are just super for beginner and intermediate players.

It's like most of Mike's books
Very detailed and in depth analysis of take out doubles and responses in a standard American environment.I don't know how one would fare in the international arena with these methods.

Metto solo il titolo dei capitoli e dei paragrafi, abbiate pietà di me:IntroductionChapter one: Four convention to help you with your takeout doubles 1. The Michaels cuebid 2.
