OTTERBOX PREFIX SERIES Case for moto e5 PLUS - Retail Packaging - BLACK

If you're a big fan of Incipio Octane which this OtterBox case tried to imitate, you'll be as disappointed as I am and here's my list of gripes as to why the OtterBox came up short:* The case is more flimsy compared to Incipio Octane, the sides have the tendency of flexing off the phone.* It is more slippery in the hand. The back is not as grippy. The ridges on the sides are not as deep and again the material surface does not as grippy.Unfortunately, at the time of my purchase, Incipio Octane is not available yet. No known plan of its future production that I know of.Pros:* Durability. Resistant to minor scratches as tested with keys and nails. * Fit. It fits perfectly and tight. Rated with 1 less star due to its slightly flexible sides.* Feature. Equipped with ridges on the sides, unlike other cases, giving it a more positive in-hand stability.* Features. There are a deep edges around the rear camera protecting it from scratches and accidental finger touching. And yet the edges to the fingerprint sensor are more shallow by comparison for a more distinct touch-and-feel. A big plus compared to other cases.

Unfortunately this isn't a very rugged OtterBox. It's basically soft plastic. Other otter boxes I bought were very hard shell this one is not. Buyer beware

Not sure what Otterbox is doing. I have had very sturdy, grippy and durable cases for my work iPhone over the years. But this case, it's another cheap made in China case that you can find for under 10$ on Amazon. The grip is nonexistent with this case, the material used is slippery. You're better off buying one of the cheap cases off Amazon instead of paying for the Otterbox name (at 3 or 4 times the price) but getting the same Made in China stuff you can find on here. Not recommended.

A typical durable, attractive, easy-to-use, if a bit pricey cell phone case. They currently don't make the traditional "Fort-Knox-With-a-Belt-Clip" for the Moto E5 Plus, but I'm certainly happy with this one. One suggestion I'd make is that I bought black, and would pick just about any other color, just because black seems to fade into the background sometimes, when you misplace the phone. Another note is the need to purchase (if you wish) the tempered glass screen protectors...but they're cheap.

Just received but it seems like it will work just fine! Looks good, no frills just plain & simple. Very slim & edges are ridged for holding. Nice big unobstructed area for camera & finger print reader! Only wish was that the whole case was more course for a less slippery grip any way you are holding it!

The one I received is made in China! We all know what that means, the made in China sticker was covered by a white sticker. Real ones say made in USA. Not sending back , but it's not real, bit they are nice..

This case is great - it looks nice, is durable, and has a non-slip grip too. We both have the same phone, so her case is pink and my case is black, so it makes it very easy to tell which phone belongs to which one of us. Had them for quite some time now, and very pleased with both of them.

This not a 2-pc case as other Otterbox cases I've owned and currently own. This is just a 1-pc. It seems to be very durable and the same quality as all the other Otterbox cases I have used.
