I saw a video on YouTube from an administrator of a New Jersey long term care facility speak about this interactive toy and the joy it was bringing his residents. My Dad is in a long term care facility being cared for while he battles dementia. I showed my sister and Mother this. They agreed it was amazing. It arrived quickly and brought to the residence. My Dad fell in love with it. And so have the nursing staff, the administration staff and the other residents in the building. So my Mother ordered a second one and donated it. We ordered the orange tabby for anyone else that might want to snuggle a friend. We called the grey one, Purrky and the orange one Spence. Thank You Hasbro for an amazing product.

this is very evil to charge 0ver 700 dollars for something that is priced $129. It really works to make the lives of dementia patients better. It helped my mother. But I only paid $129. CDN..... Shame on the seller who is overcharging this to families that are caring for their elderly.

Elderly 85-year old loves it. The pads on the feet are hard plastic, very rough. That would be an easy fix for the manufacturer (use some soft silicone or something). It is fairly rigid and mechanical-sounding, but that doesn't seem to bother her much. She likes that it meows and purrs at her randomly (as well as on cue). The eyes are quite good, feels like they are looking "at" you. It's good that it has a middle setting with no meowing sound. Overall quite impressed with the reaction it has. She's had it several months and sort of depends on it being there (she would like a real cat, of course, but not feasible).

Purrrfect for my mother who suffers from dementia. She patted it so much that she felt she had tired it out. So the staff turned off the meow function and the cat was allowed to sleep. The staff at the old age home are so pleased my mother has a focus now for her attention and affection. you might consider including a little cat bed and brush too.

We bought this cat for a long term care home for seniors. The Residents absolutely love her! It brings a tear to your eye to watch the joy on their faces. Since this cat came to live with us several staff members have bought more for the Residents because they could see what an impact it has.

The product is amazing and my mother with dementia has a wonderful time with her cat. It's the first thing that has brightened up her day and kept her interest in months. Can't say enough good things about this product!

It's for my mom for Christmas. It's nice but it's hard to get in to change the batteries.

Companion cat is very lovely. I am sure it will be a hit at the nursing home as it is a gift for my 93 year old Mother.
