CAST IRON LARGE CHIMENEA / CHIMINEA 180CM / 6FT BNIB (6FT 180CM)

Really nice piece.Arrived in two separate boxes.Like the the fact it’s a tall chim so doesn’t smoke you out like the smaller ones.All the chimney is cast iron except for the flue.Instructions are not the easiest to follow but completed in about an hour.Really nice and very happy.Assemble somewhere close to where u want it as it’s quite heavy once built.

I've just put my chiminea together. I had to redrill some of the holes as they were in the wrong place or misaligned. As long as you are able to deal with the poor quality production it makes a really good chiminea when complete and should last for years.

Small negatives: One knob from the door handle loosened when I dropped it by mistake (flimsy fit)Positives: Very well thought build. Sturdy and durable, able to sustain intensive use. Rather good fit of the pieces, all things considered (hard to achieve 'perfect' fit with cast iron pieces). Very accurate description of the product in the web page (unlike others similar who e.g. have cast iron legs and details, but the body is actually only a thin sheet of metal rather than cast iron).Would recommend & definitively buy it again.

The stove was fairly straightforward to assemble. And solid. However we didn’t have an opportunity to use the stove for three weeks because of the weather but when we did it worked fine. A week afterwards we noticed that the paint had flakes off the back. I contact the seller and was offered £20 as a partial refund. I said I wasn’t happy with that and asked for a full refund or replacement. I was told that the because it had been more than 30 days since I had received the stove I was not entitled to this and they repeated the offer of £20 only this time adding that I could use the £20’to buy some paint! I complained to Amazon who investigated and then told me that they were not able to provide a replacement or refund. I am disgusted in this and Amazon’s behaviour and would not recommend this item !

I'd read comments of buyers having to drill new holes due to screw holes not aligning & I had the same problem. The workmanship is awful & the instructions are worse. The only amazing thing about it is that I payed so much money for a pile of junk. Mr Wong, you have excelled your self to to new lows with this product. Amazon, you should check the quality of the products that are sold through your company. I think I will refer this product to Trading Standards especially when you read what it says on the packaging. Good product although instructions could be better. Took a while to assemble and some parts were difficult to align up.

Assembly instructions aren’t the greatest, took an hour for two of us to put together. Delighted with the Chiminea though, especially the fact it’s 1.8m high, doesn’t smoke you out like the shorter versions. And also that it’s cast iron, it’ll last an age. Well priced too. Great buy!
