Kemper PCN Potters Needle Tool Wooden Handle

Kemper is the best. I love this needle tool. It has a thinner diameter than the basic metal ones. Very skinny and pokey. I love it.

This is my favorite needle tool, and I was genuinely relieved when it became available again. When my first one finally broke after an encounter with some overly determined dry clay, I immediately bought another. That is about the highest compliment I can give a tool. What sets this one apart is the finer needle. Because it is thinner than most, it displaces less clay when cutting around templates, which means cleaner edges and more accurate cuts. In the pottery world, that tiny difference adds up quickly. The wooden handle is also slimmer and lighter than many other needle tools. As someone with smaller hands, I appreciate tools that feel nimble rather than club-like. This one feels more like a precise drawing instrument and less like a tiny medieval weapon. The needle can bend if you use it aggressively, and mine eventually broke while working with drier clay. That is the only real downside, but for me the precision and comfort more than make up for it. Even with that limitation, this remains my go-to needle tool and one I would happily purchase again. Five stars for precision, comfort, and earning a permanent spot in my tool cup.

So glad I found this. I lost my favorite pokie tool and was devastated. I tried several other pokie tools and they just weren't the same. It feels good to have this tool in my hand. I am a paper crafter and need something for my fine detail work. I would give this five stars if I could.

Nice tool although the needle slid out of the handle IMMEDIATELY after opening lol I just glued it back on but shouldn’t of had to do that!

I love this tool but it is a little flimsy if you press too hard it'll bend.

They have a tendency to get slanted after awhile. But they are the best I’ve found for slick cleanly through clay pots
