Substantial and better value than buying in store
Pleasantly surprised with this crimper! It's cheaper than what can be bought in store and also includes a pex cutter and go/no-go gauge. The crimper feels sturdy and well built, and the cuter is flimsier compared to the crimper but still cuts easily and cleanly. Overall, all the tools you need to complete a pex installation!

Great for newbies to PEX
Tools work great, I bought some cheap copper rings to practice with and it works great, it's adjustable and comes with a cutter and go /no-go gauge.**Edit**Tool works great but I had to adjust it right out of the gate because crimps wouldn't pass with go/no go gauge. After adjusting, per instructions there is no problem at all and no leaks. Tiny wrench that came with it stripped while loosening g bolt the first time.

As described
This is my first time working with pex, with plumbing really at all. I could have gone to a big box and rented the crimper, whoever anyone who's ever done that knows you get some well worn equipment. So for the few days I would need it, I think I came out on the plus side. The crimper itself was hard to get used to as it requires a sizable amount of force, which in a man's hands may not be much of an issue. After a few tries though I did get used to it and it worked like a charm.Because there were no instructions for the go_no go tool, I thought it had to fit entirely over the crimp, but I finally figured out that it has to make it to the indented line on the tool. The cutter works well also, just remember to hold the at 90° to the pex so you don't get a slanted cut.I installed a shower tub and although I dont have a clue how much a plumber would have cost me, I guarantee I saved a ton! This was well worth it and it's on to remodeling the kitchen now
