How the Grinch Stole Christmas: Ultimate Edition (DVD)

Such a classic and was so happy to find it on DVD

Love this movie. Can't always find it on my channels so invested in it. Now I can watch it whenever I want!

Classic film- my entire family enjoys it!

Classic movie, quality is amazing and quality purchase.

A fun Christmas tradition for our family! We have watched this every year. In fact I watched it the first time it was broadcast on TV back in the 1960’s. I didn’t realize how vivid and bright this cartoon was until I watched it in color—and that wasn’t until the mid 1970’s. The story is timeless and my son has been able to enjoy this edition in high resolution. We like this version because of the extras that are included. There’s commentary by the actress who voiced Cindy Lou Who, interviews with the songwriter and composer, and a special that I hadn’t seen in years that was on TNT: a feature narrated by the late SNL alumni Phil Hartman on the history of this animated classic. If that wasn’t enough, there’s two additional Grinch cartoons included: “Halloween is Grinch Night” and “The Grinch Grinches the Cat in the Hat.”

I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!! It has always been a childhood favorite of mine. Lets discuss why you should get this movie. - Perfect length: With today's time, everything is fast paced and people do not have a lot of time to sit around and watch movies. The length is fairly short and nice to watch. - The plot: In this movie, one can see a redemption arc as the Grinch goes from the enemy to restoring balance. The plot is not simplistic while also not being too complex. - The music: This movie has some of the most catchy songs. They definitely get stuck in your head all day. - Very festive: This movie really makes you feel festive and that the holidays are approaching. - For all ages: Some may think this is a kids movie, but it is not just for them. I bought this specific one for a college friends movie night. Some of our college guys got so into it, that we started a light-hearted debate over if the Grinch was a Who. Overall, this movie is incredible and definitely the best Grinch movie around!

This is a good classic holiday movie that’s enjoyable and comforting to watch during the season. It has a familiar, feel-good story that makes it easy to relax and get into the holiday mood. The pacing is simple and the tone is cozy, which makes it great for family viewing or background holiday watching. Overall, it’s a solid seasonal movie that brings a lot of festive charm.

Classic Grinch. I prefer this animated version.

A Great classic extremely fun to watch...

J'adore parfait

The Grinch that stole Christmas is as much a part of essential Christmas viewing as Rudolph or Frosty. From Max to Cindy Lou Who, we can not help but love all that is this story. When the Grinch tries to steal Christmas away from the fine people of Whoville, he learns that the lights and the presents and the food, are not what makes Christmas special, it is more about what comes from inside us all, towards each other, that makes Christmas a truly special time. This is a important lesson for our kids to learn and for us adults to be reminded of. Every year, it is the same thing for me, I start searching for what night and which channels, THAT is all over now, since I have bought this disc. How can you say "no" to owning this? There is nothing negative to say about this film and it has no age range. Simply fun and amazin. There are lessons to be learned for the young ones and a ton of nostalgia for the "older of us".
