These have become my favorite dress shoes by a wide margin! They are made with great attention to detail, with pointed angles and sleek aesthetics melding classic and modern dress shoe designs. The end result is a stylish shoe that wears well and draws attention. Every bit of the material here is top notch, from the leather upper to the rubber underside and the shoelaces. All feel sturdy and ready for years of wear. They fit to my feet well, are true to size for American shoe standards and remain comfortable after hours of use. I’ve worn them for work functions and formal gatherings and they never fail to draw compliments!

Quite nice! Real leather upper, rubbery tread on the bottom. Leather stitching is even, straight and secure. The sole is well fitted to the shoe, balanced all the way around, no gaps or huge 'ledges' sticking out. The sole is grippy, like a checkerboard (sort of), while also having molded in lines for flexibility and for water/mud to be shunted away from underfoot while walking. Very nice. Details on the top: double rows of top stitching for a lux look, padded roll around the ankle opening for comfort, round laces and two elastic flex gussets on the top for ease getting into the shoe. Another detail: the lace holes are straight and unembellished on the top side yet underneath, are hidden grommet looking reinforcements to add to the durability and longevity of the shoe. Inner foot bed is cushy, with side and back bolsters. Even the tongue is padded on the inside for more comfort. The 'clarks' brand mark is understated and found on the outside outer heel leather (raised) and also across the top of the tongue (indented). Rounded toe is nicely shaped. My husband finds them comfortable, true to size, easy on and off (yes, we tie our shoes). They look nice, easily biz casual to a bit more formal or office. Easy to pair with a suit, dress slacks and the like. Very nice shoes, quality comfort brand. Value and cost is about what I'd expect as these are not 'couture' shoes or bespoke. Great shoes.

man this thing is so slippery it almost threw me onto my back several times, wouldn't recommend

This is a really nice dress shoe, they fit me comfortably and they are comfortable to walk in. The price is quite reasonable, and they're worth the money. The shoes are well made and seem like there going to last a long time. I wear dress shoes to work occasionally (for meetings) and I will update this review if I have any problems with the shoes.
