194733-8 Dust Extracting Nozzle with RT0700CX3 Plunge Base

Works great. Having some kind of dust collection on a mini plunge setup is pretty sweet. Not 100% perfect, but darn close. After getting a new chop saw with really good dust collection (also makita) the mini router was my worst offender. Not anymore.

I purchased this one for the plunge base and the other one for the fixed base. They are both easy to install and surprisingly effective. It lets you get close enough too see the fine details without throwing chips in your face and getting everything covered in dust. It also keeps your marking lines clear enough to sneak up to them, because debris isn't covering them. My only wish is that they were offered together.

This device is a little delicate so the vacuum hose should be suspended to avoid sideways pressure. I found this worked great with a mortising jig. Almost no chips at all. However in slab leveling with a big slot the air blown from the router blew chips everywhere before the vacuum picked any up.

Added this to my knock off Makita router's plunge base. Fits perfectly. Picked up more chips and dust then I expected when I first looked at it. Use it for dado's, shelf pin holes. and loose tenon like domino's.

It's OK butt not great as there is only one threaded attachment screw holding it to the base of the router and it keeps popping loose. Also, as usual, dust port does not fit Festool dust extractor or or Rigid shop vac hoses, had to make my own adapter which does not work that well.

If you own a makers router don’t skip on this it makes for a cleaner shop

Although my dovetail/finger joint jig has dust control, this will work well for other uses.

The little lip on the tab side of this was too small and it would not stay secure. I sent it back although I wished it fit better, I would have kept it

Wer sie regelmäßig nutzt, präzise arbeitet und Wert auf saubere Ergebnisse legt, für den ist dieses Teil sehr zu empfehlen. Es macht aus der ohnehin guten Fräse ein noch besser kontrollierbares Arbeitsgerät. Fazit: einfache Montage gute Absaugleistung sauberes Arbeiten möglich solide, passgenaue Verarbeitung Sinnvolle Ergänzung für die Makita DRT50. Klare 5 Sterne.

Same diameter as standard dust hoses means hoses fit neither inside nor outside the port, and must be taped on or have an adapter used. Dust collected is "better than nothing", but a far cry from other routers on the market

La base ad affondamento della Rt0700c, non è provvista del pezzo per aspirare la segatura, si è costretti ad acquistarlo a parte, montato ed entra perfettamente, per il momento sono soddisfatto.

取付が弱いし先に付けなければ後からでは中々付かない

Fits my Makita 18V router. It's a piece that's a bit hard to find. Wish they'd make it more available.
