SX6000 Pro 256GB

Not the fastest option available, but low power draw and great for my external drive need. I had some USB C external enclosures that needed testing for resale, and this drive fit the bill for price and performance. I liked is so much, I kept one for my personal use. I'll probable use is for a boot drive in the future, saving the faster drives for storage and gaming.

This is my first try at using a m.2 or nvme storage. Bought this one because it was inexpensive (as compared to others at $100+), and I have always had good experience with my other computer components made by ADATA. My other products form ADATA have lasted for like….forever. I like the brand for their reliability, performance, and price. My Asus Prime Z370 motherboard had no problems recognizing the drive; it showed right away. Probably not a huge noticeable difference when booting up the computer (as compared to an SATA SSD) but now my PC is extremely fast in games and photo editing. The small form factor is not bad as well. Overall, this drive is snappy, quick, and definitely a great value for your dollars.

Did my first PC build 6 months ago, and I'm still new to these tiny drives. It's literally like a stick of gum! One screw to install right onto the mobo, lightning fast. Working great so far with no issues as the primary OS / program driver. Great value, will update if anything changes.

I like this SSD. The main reason I bought this is because of the speed it brings to the laptop. I got a 512 GB version and it improved my laptop read and write speeds so much. This is not very expensive compared to Samsung 970 evo SSDs. Installation is very easy, if you know how to open the laptop and where to look for PCIE slot. The main problem I found is with the product support. The instructions and supporting software are so difficult to access. I spent well over an hour registering the product and trying to get their cloning software to work. The ADATA website makes it so difficult with many requirements and even if you fill all their questions, it is difficult to access their software. So, finally I downloaded 'minimal tool partition wizard free tool' and was able to complete the cloning of this SSD. Now my laptop is lighting fast. ADATA should do some 'customer satisfaction survey' and improve in providing easy access to their support.

This drive is quite fast, operating on a PCIe x4 bus. I'm not sure on actual reads and writes but I boot into Windows/Linux within seconds of POST. Apps loaded onto this drive are also very quick to load and it's an overall improvement from a mechanical drive. If you have the cash and the m.2 port, go for it. Maybe get the larger 512gb model, though.

Put this to pair with a Samsung evo 2.5 and m2 in my laptop.. I'll never have to worry on transfer speeds. Short and to the point. This company is coming from the underground and using adata blocks, I'm happy. Update.. I reduced my rating to 3 stars as I only have battlefield 1, 4 & 5 on this drive and apparently restarting mid bfv update crashed the drive? Won't show up in this pc.. Stick to Samsung. Update update. Not sure if it's my y920 17ikb just being a testy little girl with my patience at times. After reinstalling windows with a just barebone os.. Haven't had an issue with this drive since. Back to five stars

EDIT: After about 2.5 years the drive died . It could not be accessed even with advanced methods. I think the controller died. I was under warranty still (even TBW) So I RMA'd the drive out on November 13th, and was confirmed received by their shipping department November 23rd. It is now January 20th and they have NOT reached out to me in any way pertaining to my RMA. I tried reaching out to them via their website (which says message send fail every time) and Twitter (ignored). This company is very shady and DO NOT TRUST their RMA. It is impossible to get a hold of a real person and their automated systems are broken. I would rather buy a hard drive from a new company then ADATA. They suck & are absolute scammers, period. Drive does NOT reach advertised speeds. I get 1.8Gbp/s Read 1.3Gbp/s Write This issue is not from users error, trust me. Can run a little hot even with included heat sink (heavy sustained load reaches 60c for me) BUT STILL its great for its price, and is good for a storage drive for booting games, etc (the reason I bought it). Idk if I'd install my OS on it, I'd go with a low end Samsung M.2 for that.

Just love love love this purchase. Installed in my asus x470 prime pro motherboard. I already have acronis. I added and formated the m.2. Used acronis to clone my windows 10 os from sata ssd to m.2. No problems at all. Booted right into windows lightning fast. Gonna purchase the 2tb model next year. I have no complaints at all. Exceeds all my expectations. Oh yea!

Used this to upgrade my MacBook Air 2017 from 128gb to 1tb ssd using Mac adaptor. Fresh install using Monterey. Used boot camp to install windows 10 on 100gb. No major problems at all.
