I was desperately hoping for a decent alternative to dermablend setting powder, as they are discontinuing it in the UK. I'm sorry to say that this doesn't even compare slightly. The powder doesn't apply as nicely as other brands, and feels like a lot more is needed to mattify my face. The powder feels quite 'grainy'.Initially, it seems to do quite well, but within an hour or two, my face feels like I've rubbed talc over it and it just doesn't agree with my skin at all. My dry bits look drier, and my makeup seems to have developed the ability to just flat out leave my skin if anything gets near it.I'm using a Clinique foundation (matte) and concealer, so not a cheap makeup brand, and not one I'd ever have a problem with usually when using either dermablend 16hr powder, or mineral veil from bare minerals. The Clinique compact works pretty well as a backup most of the time, too - I keep it in my purse to re-mattify if I'm doing anything...extra exuberant. You know the stuff.So to summarisePros:- doesn't make you look like a ghost- didn't make me breakout in any spotsCons:- didn't set my makeup at- didn't stay matte for more than 1-2 hours- makeup gained a new ability to slide off my face- grainy- doesn't go very far, even with a loose brush- doesn't deliver on any of its promisesI wouldn't recommend this to anyone that has even slightly oily or dry skin. Normal youthful skin might enjoy it, but unfortunately my 36 years certainly did not!

Can't really comment on whether the product is good or not - couldn't get it out of the container to start with. Ended up using the remains of my current powder. Eventually had to take the lid off and decant into another container. It's too small and the powder is too tightly packed to get any out of it. Needs a rethink.

I was in need of a new setting powder. I had been using dermablend and a clinique one that I liked. After reading reviews I decided for the price it wouldn't hurt to try. It actually works better than dermablend setting powder. The powder comes with a puff to use. I can put the setting powder on and finish my hair etc and it is still in place. The powder actually will stay on you until you blend it out or use a makeup brush.

Después de años de probar polvos caros que resecaban totalmente mi rostro, decidí probar este polvo para cubrir el brillo facial y quería cubrir mi piel grasa sin que se viera pastosa. Este polvo hizo precisamente eso. Ni siquiera te das cuenta de que lo tengo puesto. Se mezcla muy bien y se ve muy natural. La mejor parte es el precio. Lo bueno será comprar de ahora en adelante

I love this loose powder. I use the translucent and I have light skin with red undertones and this is the best loose powder for setting all day WITHOUT changing my concealer to another color or making it too brown or orange etc. My Tart full coverage concealer stays true color. Most loose powder changes my concealer to an odd color and this doesnt. I cover up two scars on my upper back and this powder sets my Tart full cover concealer all day.
