760FS Deep Talkin' Stainless Steel Flat Wound - Standard Long Scale Bass Guitar String 45-105

Really fun to play on these. Super classic P bass sound. Ultra smooth feel and I don’t notice any black stuff on my hands after playing for an hour. Strings obviously very high quality. Not my fav packaging or presentation, but not bad - just doesn’t seem as premium as the strings are. Long scale was plenty long enough for a Fender Precision Bass. Tuned right up without any breaks or anything. I’m primarily a roundwound player so these didn’t sound overly bright to me and I appreciate that the tone stayed consistent for the couple months I’ve had them on thru mostly daily use. Only drawback: Double the price of extremely good roundwounds from competitors. But they might last 4x as long? So idk. Just hope I don’t have to sell my bass to afford new ones if I ever need em.

Great sound! Very smooth surface, but strings are pretty stiff. Little on the pricey side, but definitely worth the money

Bellas have been a studio stand for decades and easy to see why with my first set. Even, fill tone. The new polishing regimen has these strings singly smooth. Li,ke them better than new standard d'Addarios.

Really love these strings. I have been playing rounds, both stainless and nickel, preferring nickel over the stainless steel because of the smoothness. I told a musician friend that I was a fan of Jamerson's playing and he said "I'm surprised that you aren't playing flats" which prompted me to try these. I can honestly say while I thought the nickel rounds were smooth, these La Bella's give smooth a whole new meaning. These strings literally feel like smooth glass rods, I have never played anything like them and actually had to get used to the feel. As expected the tone is soft/muted. Easy tuning and intonation. Great strings if you are looking for a subtle, soft tone...I would imagine perfect for jazz if using a fretless electric bass like a Marcus Miller GB-5. Quality strings for sure.

So after getting into flats after years as a round wound guy, I'm really enjoying this experience. It's probably not a fair fight, but I have TI's (Thomastik Infeld) on my P bass, so wanted to try something along the lines of an old school thump type of string on my Jazz. While these are very good - they aren't quiet as perfect as the TI Jazz Flats. The TI's have more mid range, and are very even - these are more V shaped, with a drop in the mids, but very present lows and some decent treble extention. Great strings - just need a bit more mid.

Best flatwound string on the market! If you love a thumpy p bass sound you will love these and never buy anything else!

No son tan brillantes como las rounded me gusta más el sonido de estas flat. Son mis primeras flat y por lo que tengo entendido duran muchísimo más que las rounded, así que si no pierde el brillo tan pronto y duran más, pues perfecto. Acostumbrado a las rounded, el tacto es raro pero creo que también me gusta más así.

Para la calidad que tiene vale el costo algo alto.

Sonido cálido con tonos oscuros extraña pero interesante combinación en cuerdas tipo flatwound que además son muy suaves y flexibles.

Just put these on my 2025 Fender squire affinity p bass and wow, I’ve never used flat wound strings before. Never going back to the rounds, they are ridiculously smooth and a pleasure to play on. Highly recommend, I bought the stand long scale 760FS (45-105) and they fit perfectly. So happy.
